As they all gathered in the living room, Noha looked around with a warm smile. “I’m going to the kitchen to finish making dinner,” she announced. “You all must be tired from the long trip.”

Jimin’s wife, Neni, quickly stood up. “I’ll help you, Noha. It’s the least I can do after such a warm welcome.”

But Noha gently waved her off with a soft chuckle. “No need, unnie. You should freshen up and relax. Dinner is almost ready, I’ve been preparing it since this morning.”

Neni smiled, appreciating the gesture but still feeling the urge to help. “Are you sure? I don’t mind giving a hand.”

Noha shook her head, her smile widening. “I’ve got everything under control. You’ve had a long journey—just take some time to rest and spend it with Jimin and the kids. I’ll call you all when dinner’s ready.”

Jimin, overhearing the conversation, gave his wife a gentle nudge. “You heard her, Neni. Let’s take it easy for now. We’ve got plenty of time to help out later.”

Neni nodded, feeling grateful for Noha’s kindness. “Alright then. But next time, I’m definitely helping,” she said with a playful grin.

As Noha made her way to the kitchen, Jungkook turned to the group with a proud smile. “You’re in for a treat. Noha’s cooking is amazing.”

Taehyung, already lounging on the couch, grinned at the mention of food. “That’s an understatement, hyung. I’ve been dreaming of her cooking all day.”

Jimin chuckled as he flopped down next to Taehyung. “I can’t wait to try it.”

With everyone settling in and looking forward to the meal, the house was filled with warmth, laughter, and the delicious aroma of dinner that soon wafted in from the kitchen, signaling the perfect end to a long, exciting day.

As everyone gathered around the dining table, the delicious aroma of Noha’s cooking filled the air. The table was beautifully set, and everyone found their seats. Just as Taehyung was about to sit down, Jimin reached out, grabbing him playfully by the arm and pulling him onto his lap.

“Come here, my baby,” Jimin said with a mischievous smile, wrapping his arms around Taehyung in a protective, fatherly way.

Taehyung chuckled, secretly loving the attention. Though they were both adults now, he always had a soft spot for the way Jimin doted on him, treating him like a kid whenever he was feeling down or needed comfort. It brought back so many fond memories from their younger days.

“Ok, appa,” Taehyung said with a grin, using the affectionate term he would often tease Jimin with when Jimin pampered him like this. He settled comfortably in Jimin’s lap, feeling that warmth and familiarity only Jimin could give.

The whole table chuckled at the sight, especially Jungkook, who was sitting across from them, shaking his head with a smile. “I swear, you’ll never grow up, Tae,” Jungkook teased, though he knew how much Taehyung valued these moments.

Jimin patted Taehyung’s head affectionately, as if he were a child again. “He doesn’t need to. I’ll always take care of him.”

Neni, sitting beside Jimin, smiled at the playful exchange. “Looks like I’ve got two kids to take care of now,” she said well smiling, watching as Jimin picked up a spoonful of rice and offered it to Taehyung.

Taehyung obediently opened his mouth and let Jimin feed him, his eyes twinkling with happiness. “This is actually really good, noona,” he said after swallowing, glancing over at Noha, who was sitting beside Jungkook. “I’m getting spoiled today.”

Noha smiled warmly. “I’m glad you like it, Taehyung.”

The rest of the family dug into the meal, laughing and chatting as they enjoyed the warm atmosphere. Despite being a grown man, Taehyung couldn’t help but feel like a kid again, sitting on Jimin’s lap and being pampered. It was moments like these, surrounded by his family, that made him feel safe, loved, and like everything in the world was right.
After dinner, the night began to wind down. The house was quiet as everyone started heading to their rooms. However, as Taehyung was about to go to his own room, he hesitated and turned toward Jimin.

“Hyung,” Taehyung said softly, rubbing the back of his neck, “Can I sleep with you tonight?”

Jimin, already knowing how Taehyung cherished their bond, smiled warmly. “Of course, Tae. Come on.”

Neni, standing nearby with Jiwon, smiled at the two of them. “I’ll take Jiwon and sleep with him in his room tonight,” she said kindly, understanding the bond Taehyung shared with Jimin. “You two enjoy your time together.”

Taehyung smiled gratefully at Neni. “Thanks, Neni-noona.”

She waved it off, picking up Jiwon, who was already half asleep in her arms. “No problem. Goodnight, you two.”

As Neni headed to Jiwon’s room, Jimin led Taehyung into his and Neni’s bedroom. Taehyung immediately flopped onto the large, comfortable bed, stretching out with a contented sigh. “This bed is so soft, I might never get up,” he joked.

Jimin chuckled, lying down beside him. “You’ve always liked sneaking into my room, even when u were younger.”

Taehyung rolled onto his side to face Jimin, a soft smile on his face. “Because you’ve always made me feel safe, hyung.”

Jimin’s expression softened, and he reached over to ruffle Taehyung’s hair. “You’ll always have a place here with me, Tae. No matter what.”

Taehyung, feeling comforted and safe, snuggled closer to Jimin, resting his head on Jimin’s shoulder like he used to when they were younger. “Thanks, hyung,” he whispered.

The room was quiet and peaceful, the warmth of their bond filling the space. Before long, Taehyung’s breathing slowed, and he drifted off to sleep, comforted by Jimin’s presence.

Jimin lay there for a while, watching over his little brother, feeling thankful for the closeness they shared. He knew that no matter how old they got, Taehyung would always be his baby brother, and he would always protect him.

With a soft smile, Jimin closed his eyes, letting sleep take over, the quiet night enveloping the house as everyone rested peacefully.

As Taehyung slept soundly, his chest rising and falling in a peaceful rhythm, Jimin couldn’t help but smile at the sight of his little brother so relaxed and vulnerable. He brushed a few strands of hair away from Taehyung's forehead, feeling a wave of protectiveness wash over him.

With a tender gaze, Jimin leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Taehyung’s forehead. “I won’t let anyone dare to hurt you, Tae,” he whispered, his voice barely above a hush. “If anyone even thinks about it, I’ll burn them alive.”

The promise, filled with brotherly love and fierce loyalty, lingered in the air. Jimin knew that in a world where threats often loomed large, he would always stand as Taehyung’s shield, ready to confront anything that came their way.

He took a moment to just watch Taehyung sleep, feeling gratitude for the bond they shared. Despite the challenges they had faced over the years, moments like these reminded him of their unbreakable connection.

With a sigh, Jimin settled back against the pillows, allowing himself to relax as well. He knew that Taehyung would always need his support, and he was more than willing to provide it. As he drifted off to sleep, he promised himself to always be there for Taehyung, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

The room remained peaceful, filled with the quiet sounds of the night, the bond between the brothers stronger than ever.
