The replaced husband

Part 21

The see off was very emotional. Raj and Akash were hugging both the kids close to them. The kids settled in the car and went home, as Raj said not to wait as it will be very late. Ray took ansh home.

Veer reached airport, and saw his dad and papa waiting. He knew, they were waiting for him.

Raj- why are you late? Anyways, listen I want you to be more alert from now on. John should not be aware about the investigation. I want you to support us from here. Also, make sure that the family is doing good. I don't know how much time it's gonna take. I have made a few contacts and found out the criminal activities of John. It might take probably a month or so.

Veer- don't worry, I will make sure. Robert will pick you guys. You both will not roam around. Robert is good with his job. He will make sure, no one puts an eye on you guys.

Soon the both men went inside the airport and veer instead of home went to office to complete the work.
As he reached office, he drowned himself in all the work. He decided to stay the night and return home later. As he already has a penthouse on the top floor.

At home everyone had their dinner and went to their rooms. Richa was staying in the singhania mansion itself as instructed by Akash and Raj.
Ansh was waiting for Veer, but soon fell asleep around 2 am.

In the morning when Ansh woke up, he knew that his husband has not returned home. Doing his morning routine he went down stairs. 

Everyone had their breakfast. Ray took ansh with him for combine studies. Ansh was fully concentrating on his work. It was around lunch time that they decided to stop and rest.

Ray- let's not continue to study. Its too much for today. Hey, Ansh how about we go out tomorrow for a movie and we can do some shopping for college as well.

Richa- That's a good idea kids. You guys need to keep your mind fresh. Because from monday the vacation will be over and you guys won't even have time.

Ansh- sure, we can do that.

Malti- sweety, your smile is not reaching your eyes.

Ray- oh come on mom. His favorite man is away from him in another country. How do you think he is feeling.?
(Ansh' eyes welled up remembering his baba and dadda.)

Richa- mera bachha. Don't cry bub. Your dadda and baba will be reaching soon and they will be calling us.

It was around 12 am, when Ray bought his laptop in the living room. All 4 of them were sitting waiting for the skype call. Soon it was Akash who appeared on the screen and started talking. Ansh was happily talking with his dadda.

Ansh- Dadda where is baba? Is He out of the room? Why did you let him go alone?

Akash- You brat, you should ask me how I am staying with your overbearing baba.

Ansh- don't talk about baba like this. He is the sweetest.

Raj- hey baby ansh. How's my little one. Don't worry, I can handle your dadda well.

Everyone were laughing and chatting. They kept the call stating they need to rest and eat something. They retired for the night. Ansh decided to call Veer as since it's been 2 days he didn't came home. He was worried about the others health.

Ansh- He was not answering the call. I decided to sleep as I was tired. Soon my phone started ringing. I saw it was him who called back. I happily answered the call. But before I could even say a hello. He said go to sleep I am busy and hung up.

I was still staring at the phone. I know he is working very hard, and now has more responsibility since baba and dadda are in London. But does he have to be so rude with me. While thinking all this, my eyes started to well up. I slept while crying

When Ansh woke up in the morning, he was all alone. He knew Veer didn't come.
He went inside the bathroom and saw his own reflection. His face was dull, red nose and eyes. Sighing he started his morning routine and soon went down stairs.

Ray- did you cry? Don't cry bestie, soon dad and papa will be here. Now give me a smile. ( ansh smiled or we can say attempted. I knew he was hurt and missing our fathers. But another reason was Bhai. He was not home since 2 days, today marks the 3rd day. I should just cheer him up)

Ansh- where is mumma and maa?

Ray- they had their breakfast and went to meet their friends. After breakfast get ready, we are going out.

Ansh- it's still early ray. It's just 9:30 am. Why we have to go so early?

Ray- stop pouting not gonna work. Get ready. I have a surprise for you. And i am not taking no as an answer.
(He just sighed pouting amd finished his breakfast. I just chuckled looking at this baby. Next month it's his birthday. I am gonna plan a family outing. Hopefully dad and papa will be back by then)

Both went to get ready and met in the living room. Ray started the car and ansh kept on asking where they were going. Ray would just shush him up.

Ansh- come on ray, atleast give me a hint.

Ray- stop whining and stomping your feet. Not gonna answer.
