Code red..

"Hello Vivian"

" what a coincidence that you are always here on the exact same  time as i drop Jamie off"

" well we can't always trust out system to always work, but we can trust on it to fail the same day every week"

Vivian smiled, i gave her a little smile back.

" I was thinking for our next "Coffee" meeting, i thought that we could switch it up a bit and-"

Vivian stopped talking

Why did she stop?

Then i realized she saw something i was not ready to share with anyone yet.

" for our next meeting. I have to cancel that sadly"

" oh.."

Vivian just stared at me. I knew she was sad. I didn't know exactly why though. Maybe because i didn't tell her?..

" Congratulations"

" Viv"

Vivian walked away. She didn't even look back.

I felt like crying. But i can't cry. No.
I turn around and see Marjorie looking at my finger. Her mouth wide open. She was shocked.

" Is that an engagement ring??"

" Yes"

" is that why Autumn is not in today??"

"She is in a meeting with her father at the moment"

"Tip Marjorie.. you should stock up on sausage rolls.   She would need a lot.

I walked away as i hear Marjorie type. She said it out loud what she typed

"Winter code red"

Of course " code red" its awful for Autumn and Reece. Their dad was Marrying somebody who is younger than his son and is the same age as his daughter. If my father did that i would probably be disgusted too.

Went in my car and started to tear up. I started crying. I was so upset.

I drove to Reeces nursery. I kinda forgot that i was crying and my eyes would probably be red. So i just took my stuff and went in the nursery.

I walked in to his office and he was sitting there doing paper work.

"Hello Reece"

" Hello mum"

" Haven't i and Roger told u so many times to stop calling me Mum?"

" well you are getting married aren't you? So you will become my Mum"

" ugh"

Reece looked up with a grin but that disappear fast.

" Siobhan. Were you Crying?"

" what nonsense are you talking about"

" well either you cried or u did drugs and we both know you don't do that so."

" am fine Reece. Why wouldn't i be"

" i don't know thats why am asking."

"Well u don't have to be concerned about me. "

" fine. By the way"

I was about to walk out but he didn't finish.

" if you didn't cry, then you smudged ur mascara everywhere.

I rolled my eyes and left the office. I went to the restroom to wipe away the mascara that had ran down.

I went back to the office to pick up some paper work that Roger asked me to get . I was about to walk away then Reese stoped me.

" you know. If u ever need to talk to somebody. You can talk to me or Marjorie. I know sometimes it's hard to open up to people but sometimes thats what people need. They need to open up. And if am being completely honest."

I raised my eyebrow.

" i know how it is living with my dad. So if you need to talk to somebody who gets it. Talk to either me. Autumn or Mia. We all have been there"

" Thank you Reece"

I walked out knowing i would not tell anyone about the thing between me and Vivian or what is going on with Roger.

And definitely not Mia. That Flirty red head.. Besides the point. There is no use in that. It will never be.  

At least i don't think so..
