Brennan had been feeling unwell for about 4 weeks now, it had been 8 weeks since Vincent’s death and there had been no murders so they didn’t feel the need to go into work yet.
Booth got the call for a body at a bowling alley in the early hours of the morning. Sighing he nudged Brennan and said he would meet her down in the car. Rolling over Brennan then ran to the bathroom spilling her stomach contents into the toilet. Groaning she took some aspirin and got ready for the day.
While going over the victim, trying to decide on a time of death she realised she was late, mentally slapping herself for not realising sooner, the case ended up turning out to be quite annoying and the victim had been someone on her Dad’s bowling team.
After getting the call that Angela was in labour, they quickly rushed home to collect the baby’s present and to change out of there undercover clothes. Arriving at the hospital they sat with the others.
“Good Case, guys.” Sweets complimented them.
Booth smiled at him, but Brennan was distant she was thinking about something else.
When Hodgins bought the baby out, Brennan went to see Angela.
“Hey Ange.” Brennan said quietly entering.
“Sweetie.” Angela’s face lit up.
“This is from Booth and I.” Brennan said handing a cute stuffed animal over to Angela.
“Thank you.” Angela said.
“So what was it like?”
“Amazing, Beautiful, Incredible, why you and Booth want to have kids?” Angela asked.
“I’m pregnant.” Brennan smiled at her.
“Aw Sweetie Congratulations, does Booth know?”
“No I only found out this morning, I wanted to solve the case first.”
“Okay Well I’ll tell you what, how about you take a walk and tell him, you can always come back tomorrow to see Michael.”
“Thanks Ange.” Brennan smiled.
She walked out to see Booth was now holding Michael, he looked so happy and care free.
Smiling at him as he grinned back.
“Hate to cut it short guys but Michael has to go to the Nursery and Ange wanted one last kiss before bed. “
When Brennan and Booth left the hospital Brennan was stumped on how to tell him.
“Hey Bones you were unusually quiet after the case today, do you want to go for a drink at founding fathers to celebrate.”
“Um.. I can’t …I mean no thanks.”
“Okay What’s wrong.” Booth got seriously worried.
“There’s nothing wrong it’s just that I’m…. I’m pregnant.”
Booth’s grin was from ear to ear.
“Really.” He says he’s so happy but he’s so shocked as well.
He picks her up and now she’s smiling, he kisses her so passionately, it was a perfect moment.
