The day after Elias' revelation about the other chosen ones, Sara could hardly find her peace. The thought that there were others like her out there filled her with a mixture of relief and curiosity. Who were they and how would they meet? The questions swirled in her mind as she continued her training with Elias.
This day he led her to a new chamber deep beneath the old factory. The chamber was smaller than the others, with walls of smooth, polished stone, and in the center was a circle of symbols, carved into the floor. A soft blue light illuminated the room and Sara could feel a strong energy vibrating in the air.
This is the gathering place, Elias said, his voice echoing in the small room. "This is where you will meet the others. But before we summon them, you must be ready."
Sara nodded and stepped into the circle. She could feel the energy intensifying around her, as if the room itself was awakening. Elias stood next to her, and she could feel his uneasiness.
"How do we summon them?" she asked, letting her gaze rest on the glowing symbols beneath her feet.
"With the help of the Source," Elias answered, raising his hands to the glowing walls. "It connects us all, and through it we can reach out to others. But it requires concentration and strength."
Sara closed her eyes and focused on the power she had learned to control. She could feel the energy of the Source flowing through her, like a river of light moving through her body and mind. Elias began muttering ancient words, an incantation that felt both foreign and familiar. The words seemed to awaken something in the room, something ancient and powerful.
Suddenly, Sara felt a tug in her mind, as if something or someone was trying to connect with her. Images flew through her head, faces, places, strange starry skies. She didn't know who these people were, but she could feel their presence, their strength, and their fear.
"They're here," Elias said, his voice filled with a mixture of relief and excitement. "Now you have to connect with them."
Sara took a deep breath and opened herself to the impressions that came to her. She felt their energies, felt their confusion and their hope. Her mind reached out to them and slowly they began to take shape. She saw them standing in similar chambers, scattered throughout the world, all surrounded by symbols and lights. They were young, like her, and each carried a power reminiscent of her own.
Elias' voice brought her back to reality. "Knowing them is not enough. You must find each other, cooperate and stand together against the threats that are approaching. The stars have brought you together, but it is up to you to find the strength to protect the Source."
Sara could feel the connection between them growing, as if an invisible thread now bound them together. She knew the others could feel her too, and a sense of community washed over her. They were no longer alone.
But with this connection also came a clear sense of danger. There were dark forces out there who had also sensed this new energy. They were looking for the Source and they weren't going to stop until they found it.
"We must meet," Sara said aloud, as if speaking to the others across the room. "We must stand together."
Elias nodded. "And it must be soon. I can tell the others feel the same. You are bound together now, but time is short. Those who seek the Source are strong and desperate. They will do anything to find you. "
Sara felt a squeezing sensation in her chest. The battle she had feared was closer than she had thought. But now she was no longer alone. She had allies and together they would be stronger.
Taking a deep breath, she allowed the connection to the others to strengthen until she could almost feel their presence beside her. She knew that they would meet soon and that their destinies were now inextricably linked.
"We are ready," she whispered, not only to Elias, but also to the other chosen ones with whom she now shared a fate.
Elias closed his hands and the room slowly darkened as if the energy was retreating. "Prepare yourself, Sara. This is only the beginning. Your journey will be long and dangerous. The stars will guide you and the Source will give you the strength you need."
Sara nodded, a new determination growing in her heart. She knew the challenges ahead were great, but she felt ready. Ready to find the others, ready to fight for the Source and for the balance they were chosen to protect.
With one last thought of the stars and their whispers, she left the chamber with Elias. Fate had set her on this path and she was determined to follow it.
