/Sarah/
I sat on the curb outside of the noisy party waiting for anything.
I wasn't sober so I couldn't exactly drive back to campus.
I was trying to figure out what to do when Ryan appeared in front of me.
"Babe come on. just stay here. we can stay up in my room. you're drunk so I don't think you'll be driving back to campus." he said pulling me up.
"No I'm going home." I said stubbornly.
"No. come on." he said dragging me inside.
"Ryan!" I tried to pull away.
"Quit fighting me." he growled into my ear.
I stood there frozen. I didn't want him to hit me tonight so I agreed.
He pressed a kiss to my color bone and whispered in my ear.
"Good girl."
He led me up to his room and locked the door behind him.
I sat on the bed with a pout on my face.
I just wanted to go home. he knows I hate it here.
"Babe lighten up." he grinned, pulling his shirt off.
I turned the other way.
"Don't be like that." he said reaching for my waist.
I didn't say anything.
His lips pressed to mine as he kissed me.
His fingers gripped my thighs as he lifted me onto his bed.
"Mmm. you're so beautiful." he sighed pressing his lips to my neck.
His hands lifted my dress up over my head as a cold chill worked its way up my spine.
a whimper escaped my lips as he trailed his fingers up my thigh.
"Oh be quiet." he snarled digging his nails into my wrist.
I bit my tongue as tears pricked my eyes.
I hated him for this but I was too scared to tell him otherwise.
He unhooked my bra and threw it in a pile with my dress and his clothes.
Then we were both naked and I was fighting back the sobs as we laid in the darkness.
He was finally asleep. I felt disgusting. I managed to crawl out of his embrace and onto the floor as I managed to find my clothes. I got dressed and hurried out of his room.
I locked myself in the bathroom and let the sobs tear through the air.
I tried to clean myself up but his touch still lingered. and the fact that I wasn't a virgin anymore made me physically sick that I actually threw up.
With shaking hands I picked up my purse and walked downstairs and out the door.
I needed to get as far away from that house as I could.
Tears still fell onto my cheeks as I walked further away from the house and closer to safety of the shadows.
I was terrified of what he'd do if he woke up but I'd deal with that when it came, but right now I was just focusing on getting back in one piece.
I heard a car getting closer as I walked faster down the sidewalk.
"Hey, do you need a ride?"
I slowly turned around to see a black Audi pulled up beside me.
A guy was sticking his head out the window and looked concerned.
"I um no thanks." I lied.
"You sure?"
I didn't answer.
"Look miss I'm sure a car can get you wherever you need to get to faster than walking. plus it's about to rain." he said opening the passenger door.
I was about to say no and keep walking when I heard a door slam shut with such force and then I saw an angry Ryan storming down the front steps.
Our eyes connected and even from this far away I could see his eyes darken.
He was pissed.
"SARAH!" He yelled walking down the drive way.
Without thinking I quickly got on the car and slammed the door shut.
"Drive!" I yelled.
I was shaking when he floored it and left Ryan in the dust.
We were finally off the street and away from the house when we were stopped at a red light.
I'm guessing you're names Sarah." he said turning to look at me.
I nodded and looked away.
"Well, sarah, my names Niall and I'm not an axe murderer now it's late and you look exhausted, I can lend you my guest room and you can borrow my car in the morning to get home okay?" He said slowly.
I thought about my options. then I thought about making him take me home, but that's the first place Ryan would go.
"Okay." I said reluctantly.
"Sarah I promise you he won't hurt you, and neither will I." He said honestly.
"Green light." I said quietly.
I didn't want to do this but I had suffered enough from Ryan's abuse.
I just wanted to feel safe for once.
He got the message and the sluggish drive through the New York traffic was quiet until we pulled up to a big house.
"I can order pizza if you're hungry." he said kindly.
I really wanted to say no since he had been so kind to let me stay and help me out but I hadn't eaten anything except a bowl of cereal and a cookie.
"Okay." I sighed.
"Cheese or pepperoni?" He asked opening the front door.
"Pepperoni please."
He nodded.
"Okay. so here's the living room, kitchen, bathroom, pantry, and upstairs is my room and you can stay in the guest room. there's a bathroom with a shower if you wanna shower and stuff. and I'll just be down the hall if you need anything." he said showing me around.
"Thank you so much Niall." I said grateful.
"No problem." he gave me a small smile before leaving the room.
Odd enough I felt safe.
Yeah I had taken a ride from a stranger and I was staying at his house but it was better than being in the same room as Ryan.
