/Niall/

As soon as we stepped into the light of my house I really got a good look at her.
Her golden hair and blue eyes framed her face and she was beautiful.
By the looks of her skin tight dress and red lips and her fallen curls she was at a party. that and I could smell the alcohol.
But I also saw the bruises. I noticed when I offered her a ride she jumped in the car when a guy yelled at her.
She was shaking so much when she yelled at me to drive.
I felt bad for her.
No one should ever be hit or abused or forced into something.
She didn't say much but she didn't have to.
I knew she was terrified and I just wanted to help.
New York is a dangerous place. I should know.
I ordered the pizza and went to check up on Sarah.
She was crying when I walked in.
"Sarah?! Hey. hey. what's wrong?!" I asked softly. running over to her.
Sobs escaped her as she tried to catch her breath.
"I just- it's- he's just- he- he- he took something from me and I shouldn't have let him take me back inside." she cried.
It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what she meant when she said he took something he shouldn't have.
"Sarah, I'm so sorry." I said unexpectedly hugging her.
She tensed but soon let her guard down and cried into my chest.
Her thin fragile body shook with sobs as she let me comfort her.
"You can stay here as long as you want." I said.
She nodded and managed to say thank you.
Her sobs soon turned to sniffles and I handed her a tissue.
"All better?" I said quietly.
she nodded.
"Alright. come on we can go watch a movie or something. the pizza should be here soon." I said helping her to her feet.
"Thank you for everything." she said quietly.
"Your welcome." I gave her a sad smile and led her downstairs.i handed her a blanket as she curled up on the couch.
The doorbell rang and I went to get the pizza.
I put a slice on a plate for her and handed it to her. I set the box on the coffee table and went back into the kitchen and got a water bottle out of the fridge.
"Here." I handed it to her and she flashed a small smile and said thanks.
That was the first smile I'd seen on her face all night and it was breathe taking.
We watched Forrest Gump and she laughed and smiled and at the end we both teared up a bit.
We finished off almost all of the pizza and when the movie ended I looked over to find her curled up asleep.
She looked so small. so peaceful.
I gently picked her up in my arms and carried her upstairs and laid her in the bed. I sat her shoes next to her purse and turned the lights off before heading to bed.
