Today my birth dad mr Clarke is coming round to 'hang out' he is arriving in about 5 minutes he wants to basically take me out for the day and get to know me I don't wanna go but Leah is forcing me "Leah I don't wanna go out with him" "well to bad in school he has to be professional around you and you aren't exactly the most welcoming person in school now this is just a chance to get know each other" I sat on the stairs and she opens the door as he heard a knock "hello" he walked in chirpy and smiling wearing like dad jeans with a randome shirt "hi, how weird is this how are you" Leah laughed trying to make conversation "I'm good so Alex how are you since the incident in school" "Tom" Leah told him and I just didn't even look at him "I'm sorry I don't mean to- it doesn't matter how about we get going I have a whole day planned out" I death stared Leah as he said that and she just mouthed to be nice "well you two have fun" Leah smiled as I stood up and followed him out the door "be good" she warned me as I followed him to his car and soon she shut the door on us "so I was thinking we could go for brunch you know have a catchup sort of thing then walk around London "sounds good" I stayed shirt and quiet the whole car ride to this coffee shop "so what team do you support" he asked me as we sat down "arsenal through and through" "of course you do. Did your mum make you" he laughed "no I grew up around it and stuff." "Ohhhh really? Are you into football" he wondered "yeah I play for a team" I figured he knew I played with Leah but I didn't wanna tell him "oh really I should come to one of your matches "yeah maybe.. so do you have any hobbies or anything" I asked "not really I mean I go to the pub and thats about it other then going to your sisters dance comps"  "sister?" I looked at him "I- you have a sister called Amy she comes to  your school actually she's the year below you at school" "oh cool" for about half a hour I Just let him ramble on about absolute shit   Before we went on a walk  but it was just awkward an I'm tried do I'm not really talking back with him I'm just letting him talk as I'm not trying to be rude "hey it's getting on I can drop you off back at yours if you want" he offered and I'm tired "yeah please" I finally spoke  so we made the drive back to my house where I knocked on the door and waited for Leah to open it "hey guys" she opened the door letting us in "you okay?" She asked me "yep" "I'll see you later kid" he told me as I turned to him "bye" I mumbled before heading up the stairs but I heard them talking about me so I stopped at the top "how did it go?" Leah asked him "she is very quiet didn't really speak I told her a bout Amy her sister who's in the year below her but she didn't exactly seem thrilled about even seeing me" "don't take it to heart, she's just adjusting these past couple of months have been a rollercoaster for her honestly just put yourself in her shoes" Leah defended me "your right, it's probably weird for her me finally being around" he said before he left and I heard the door shut  so I headed back down stairs "Leah I tried I swear" I said before she grilled me "I know. I get he's hard to get along with but I mean at least it's a start" "yeah"  I mumbled slouching on the sofa "so you and lauryn are you guys like official official like locked in" she asked me and I started to get a bit embarrassed "well we are together for sure"  I told her "but?" She added on for me "but, I don't know it's different being with her and like the last boy I was with"  "what happened with him?"
