~Chapter two~
Trouble On The Train

Year: 3063

Parker is an abnormal, who turned fifteen six months ago on the 11th July. Currently it's January and the beginning of a new year, meaning it's finally time for her to leave the Lab, where she grew up, the place that she knew as home.
Dr.Price was informed for Parker to be punctual and arrive at the Huddle Training Centre on January 4th, 3 days from now. She had discovered her special ability at the age of nine, although she can't fully control it yet (it's highly unlikely any abnormal will gain full control of their ability).
"So Parker, how do you feel? It's the last day until you leave and head off to the training centre." Dr.Price asked.
"Excited, really excited! I'll get to see other children, MY age. I also can't wait to learn more about my power and actually use it." The girl exclaimed, fire burning in her eyes, gripping her hand in a tight fist. Parker was definitely not normal looking for an abnormal but she was quite average not the most developed but majority of mutants still poses mostly human features. The younger girl could pull off passing for a human if it wasn't for her abnormally pale skin and striking hair; short puffy that hung just above her shoulders, the left half of it a red black while the right half of it illuminous yellow. She had freckles spread all across her body and face, with two small black love hearts, that could be mistaken for freckles, sitting under her eyes.
'Devils flame' was Parker's ability name. There's not much she knows about it yet but something she does know is: that it comes out when she is annoyed or angry, it would sprout out on the top of her head and shoulders like a geyser.
Parker hasn't seen any living being except for Dr.Price and Dr.Huddle since she was nine. Dr.Huddle is the head of it all, the organisation, the outbreak.::
The Huddle family ancestors originally made the impact for the abnormals and their great idea to prove themselves by using the mutation of humans and develop them for the benefit of humanity. Parker met Dr.Huddle when she chose to fight for humanity, as to Parker's surprise she was visiting her Laboratory. Looming over, Dr.Huddle observed each kid in line to present their choice, she stood proud and superior, alone. Having the courage to even be in a 5 metre radius of her was brave but Parker's naive 10 year old self saw this as an opportunity and held her head high. Moving out of line she strutted over toward Dr.Huddle and proudly presented a slip of paper with her choice on.
"Hello high and mighty creator, thank you for visiting this Laboratory it truly is an honour to see you." Young Parker grinned.
"Well aren't you an exuberant personality. How delightful, although I am not your creator, simply a leader here to attain peace."
Dr.Huddle had charisma and a way with words that inspired and manipulated. She managed to convince hundreds of children to stay and develop into fighters. Parker found her magnificent.
"Without you and your family I wouldn't be here so thank you again, my name is Parker Wood and I look forward to serving you!" She expressed before racing back to the line.
Dr.Price is Parker's doctor and would always check up on Parker to keep her company. He usually wears the same outfit daily although he had a little surprise today, as he entered wearing a long white lab coat, black trousers and a yellow t-shirt instead of his original light blue. Price has raised Parker since she could walk and talk; practically a parent to her, although it's important to remember that the doctors are only there for work and strictly forbidden from developing any sympathy or attachments towards the abnormals. Dr.Prices main priority is and has always been to help Parker control her power and educate her.
When an abnormal figures out what their ability is they are immediately isolated and experimented on. Parker was ecstatic that she could finally see someone like her again after 7 years of being locked up that she couldn't sleep. Most of the night Parker thought about what she would do. Since some people found their abilities at a young age, she wouldn't be the only one without any friends.
Lying in her bed she squeezed her eyes tight and wished for a team that would be kind and fun so they can all be friends. She was excited to see what the dorms looked like and their own private lounge area. Internally screaming 'I can't wait!'
