Thank you!

Enjoy!

Not. Edited!

Today is a bad day.

I was being transferred to the devil's home. I did not know why and I did not want to leave here into an unfamiliar territory. This was no better but at least I was getting used to the sociopath here and Rose who was nice to me.

I packed what little I had here which was a few shirts and shorts. I was at the door waiting to be picked up and for Von to be dropped off. It was an exchange.

I did not wait long. Soon a black SUV pulled up and the other sociopath came out and on the other side, Vinson came out with a scowl on his face. He looked nice and well taken care of but his face looked very unhappy and annoyed. I waved as soon as he was looking at me and he gave me the up and down, then he waved back.

"Hi, Vinson!" I said so happy to see a familiar face. He rolled his eyes.

"What are you so happy about? We were kidnapped, sold and now being traded. Did I miss the memo of happiness somewhere in there?" He was rude and maybe sarcastic too but I laugh because this is Vinson. Ain't nobody like him and he just like that.

"You should be happy to see my very handsome face." I wink and he rolls his eyes again.

"I would be even happier to see the gate I can escape out of. And you are not handsome, you are pretty." He said.

"Aww! Thank you!" He sighs hard.

"How long am I staying here?" He asks the other sociopath. He shrugs.

"Will you miss me, Pickle?" Vinson scoffs.

Pickle?

"You wish dipshit." And that's Vinson for you. He tells you as is, picks up for himself and he doesn't wait on anyone to, and never backs down. I mean, it's not these guys do not have our lives in their hands so agitate them, why don't you? I just love living on the edge Vinson puts us.

The other sociopath smiled. He turned away when he did so no one saw but his lips twitch. It went upwards briefly. Just what kind of relationship do they have? I didn't have to think much before the sociopath I was staying with walked through the door with all smiles.

"Welcome to my humble abode!" He exclaimed with arms wide open. Vinson rolls his eyes. He must love doing that.

"From one stupid to the next. A guy can't catch a break." He mumbles as he walks up the stairs toward me. "Have fun." He said as he passed me into the house. Sociopath waved at the other behind turning and shutting the door behind him. Now I'm stuck with a new one.

"Get in the car. We have a lot to get done." He said and I did without question or fuss because I am not Vinson and won't be toying with my life. "You'll be staying with me for a while and based on your answers, it'll determine how long you stay and stay safely." I nod.

"I don't understand how I can help you with anything. I don't even know your name." I said confused.

"Valdosta" he answered.

That sounds like a last name but I didn't question it.

It didn't take us long to reach his home and when we did, he quickly showed me my room and said he lives alone unlike his friend who had Rose. So that means I have to clean up after myself and cook for myself as well. He did mention that a maid comes when he calls and it's either he's a neat freak or the maid comes a lot because this place is clean as a whistle. It's unlike what a man's place would be.

I could eat off the ground itself. It was spotless, glistening actually.

He laid out the rules to me which are no outside shoes inside his house so he gave me a pair of slippers to wear at all times and they are never to leave the house. He as I thought I would already have to, said I should ensure I clean up after myself and cook for myself or order something at his expense of course. He said no loud noises, not to destroy a single thing, and not to go into places that were restricted and those doors had signs on them. He said a bunch of other things and all I did was nod because why is he so strict.

"Do you understand all I just said?" I nodded again and his phone rang. He picks it up.

"How is my runner?" The sociopath guy asks.

"It hasn't even been thirty minutes Asshole." He walked away and I headed to my room for now and unpacked. I explore the house, avoiding all the rooms with signs on them, and those rooms without I quickly glimpse inside. It was a beautiful, clean house. I was impressed.

"I have a business to handle. So you will be here alone for hours." I raise an eyebrow at him for leaving me here, a guy who does not want to be here, a guy who wants to escape.

"What if I try to run away?" I ask, stupid I know but my curiosity wins.

"Well, I guess I wouldn't say I live completely alone. No humans are here yes but other things lurk around here and they keep you in check." He nods behind me and I stare not seeing what he's referring to. Until it moved and gasped because it was the biggest black dog, wolf, or whatever it was I'd ever seen.

It stretched, yawned, and shook then stared at me baring its teeth. I hear another movement and the biggest white dog, wolf, whatever it was I've ever seen as well. It did the same and stared at me. I faced Valdosta and he was already going through the door. I move after him they growl loudly and I jump.

He faced me then turned to the dogs, "Tear him to sheds if he even attempts to escape." They growl as if they understood then bark and he was gone. I turned to them but they went about their way I knew they were watching, smelling me and I gulped.

I just realized that Sociopath and Rose weren't so bad at all.
