Thank you!

Enjoy!

Not. Edited!

I hum sleepily as I wake slowly. My headaches annoyingly and my nostrils burn as if I was pepper sprayed there or I sniff a very strong odor, none of which I can recall doing nor did I recall falling asleep staring up at the star because I had no other choice. I had half a ceiling in my abandoned house.

Finally opening my eyes, things were foggy for a short while before they cleared up presenting my environment. I'm nowhere I know of and this doesn't even seem like I'm anywhere near where I reside so I panicked. My heart rate rose slowly the more I looked at unfamiliar items in the room I was placed in because I certainly did not walk there, my headaches worse and my fingers and toes curled frequently because of nerves.

I didn't know what to do or make of this, I hardly remember how I ended up here but I'm sure I did not come here of my free will. I tried to remember what happened yesterday and my memory felt wiped because I could not remember a thing, not even waking up. A voice suddenly penetrated the walls of the room I was in and what to make of it I had no idea so instead I stayed quiet and listened to two persons argue.

"You did too much. You could have permanently damaged the guy." Someone said sounding bothered by the other action.

"I said I'm sorry countless times. I didn't know I put that much in the cloth," he reasoned and I didn't hear anything after that. It was silent for a while until it started up again "Baby please," the guy sounded as if pleading and truly sorry.

"It's fine. I just want to leave this place and I, we can't afford any mistakes right now seeing how close we are hun," he sounded defeated and tired.

"I understand. Next time I'll be careful." The other guy hums in response.

"Go tell them about him. He should be awake by now and if not then that means trouble which we can not have. I'll check on him while you fetch them not so quickly." The guy with a softer voice said then I heard footsteps getting close which meant he was approaching.

I gazed straight ahead at the pretty vase on the small table in front of me as I waited. I didn't see it necessary to panic or think irrationally since I was in an unknown territory with unfamiliar animals - humans. I'll stay calm and ask questions instead.

I did not have to wait long because soon the door opened to my right but I continued to stare seemingly fascinated with just a vase, a pretty vase. The person slowly approaches me until he blocks my view of the vase forcing me to stare at him instead.

"Hello Kennedy" I hum blinking as I seem to be losing focus and my vision is blurring out. "Tell me how you feel," he said flipping open his book to write.

I shrug but answer, "Fine. Calm even which is weird because I have no idea where I'm at or what even happened yesterday. Headache too." I said honestly because it is indeed weird.

"I'm sorry. It's the side effect of what was, well done to you. Too much of it anyway. The chemical in it is to soothe the mind, keep it calm regardless if you're staring death in the eyes." He tries to joke but I find it not funny at all so my face remains neutral. Eventually, he clears his throat and continues "It will wear off and then you'll react as you should but for now, I'll hydrate you and put you to sleep." I nod complying.

"You're a doctor?" I ask as he checks my IV bag and then fetches some water on the counter.

"Yes," the answer was short.

"Do you enjoy it?" I just wanted to have a soft conversation.

"Not anymore. Matter of fact it disgusts me. Please sit up and drink." I did so at the pace I could and he remained patient by my side, taking the cup after I finished. "Lay down and rest. I'll check on you later," he said and I nodded.

"Thank you," I said because I remembered my manners and he did help me.

"I suppose I'll take that," he said walking towards the door "because the next time you're awake, you'll be at my throat." He said with a chuckle but I could hear no humor from it. My eyes became heavy and just as the door shut, so did my eyes, and into slumber, I went.

Sometime after

"Are you sure there is no permanent damage?" A smooth voice asks.

"Sure," said a soft voice that somehow sounded familiar. "He should be waking about this time." Lucky for you I already am, I'm just trying to open these heavy eyelids.

"He looks promising. Maybe Mr. Valdosta can't refuse this time don't you think?" The smooth voice asks as my eyes slowly open.

"I don't know for sure sir. He is picky and you did say that about a lot of men before him," reason the soft one, and by now my eyes are fully open and the first thing I say was a pretty vase on a small stand before me.

"Just a feeling about this one and tonight that feeling should be put to the test. Make sure he's healthy and then call in Troy to make sure he's ready for presentation." He ordered.

"Of course." The soft voice forced out trying to sound not affected by being ordered around.

I try to leave my hands but it only goes a certain distance before it stops but I try again. I groan tiredly and drop my head on the pillow since it feels like it weighs a ton. I soon realized that handcuffs were keeping my hands restricted. "What the fuck?" I thought out loud.

"Lovely! He's awake." I turn my head lazily in the direction of the voice. A tall man in a black expensive suit was staring at me as if satisfied with what he saw. "His eyes are lovely don't you think?" He asked the guy behind him without looking back, so he did not see the roll of eyes.

Even though irritation was present on the guy's face he tried to keep it out of his voice as he responded like a good worker should to their boss even though you want to bury your boss alive. "Indeed sir," he kept it short which also felt familiar.

"Well, chop chop!" He claps turning smoothly on his heels and exits the room. The guy watched him with a side of his lip turned up displaying annoyance and disgust before shaking his head and facing me.

"Hello Kennedy," he said and I frown because it feels like I'm reliving a dream.

"Hello?" I said more like a question because I was confused, "Who are you? Where am I?" I ask curiously, pulling at my hands harder now as I am tied down which does not sit well with me.

"Calm down and don't hurt yourself." He said calmly as if he's been in this situation countless times.

"Hurt me! I'm tied down in a place I don't know so calm, I think the hell not!" I yell still pulling trying to break free. "Let me go!" I yell. I tried my feet as well and it turns out that my feet are also restricted. "What is this?" I panicked.

"You seem to be fine. Your strength is back, focus, and color too. I'll go fetch Troy. Don't slice your wrist or kill yourself while I'm gone." He said heading toward the door.

"Please," I beg "Tell me something," He sighs, slowly turning to face me.

"Congratulations. You have successfully sold your Virginity." I gasp. What? "I don't see why you're so surprised when you were the one who sold it." He left after that.

And finally, I cried.
