"Come on come on come on..." Cosmo muttered as she peered outside the door, looking for any sign of the troll. Adora had finished her opener, and the twins were now starting their show. They only had 10 minutes for JD, and if he came a second too late, they would risk him getting caught, which would screw up-

"Guys! He got in from the air ducts!" Alec relayed in the headset, calming Cosmo a bit.

"Kay, Star, you're up!"

"Stupid Velvet..." Star quietly cursed as she spied the camera the Rageon had placed to make sure no one could steal Floyd. She got a spellbook and turned invisible, slipping past and into the dressing room where JD was...

Star tried desperately not to laugh as the troll inside gave his brother an ignored deadpanned stare. "JD, STOP! There's only one thing that can shatter diamond, and you know it!"

Star puffed up, fina-

"Ah, a diamond shattering diamond hammer!"

That was it. Star full out burst into laughter, the spell breaking as the two trolls turned to the mergon now gasping for air on the ground.

"Bitch what the f-" JD started, utterly confused as Floyd sat down again in disbelief.

"OH MY- NO NO NO! THE PERFECT FAMILY HARMONY DUMBASS!" Star crowed as she got up, and then John Dory turned on his bracelet, turning into his Human form and put a knife to her throat.

"Excuse me, but if you're Velvet..." He hissed, and Star rolled her eyes.

"Do I look like a doll to you? Sorry hon, I'm a mergon, half dragon, half mermaid. And before you ask, I can't break the bottle, it'll kill me!"

"Wait a minute..." 

Star faced Floyd, who looked confused. She sighed before explaining.

"Yeah, the opener is a spellcaster, we took the job because we heard some... unsavory rumors. Now listen JD. I know where Branch and Spruce are," She pushed away the knife and got out a card. "Branch is in Bergen Town, and Spruce on Vacay Island. Some of my family is with them just in case, but if I were you, I'd go get them."

"... Promise me kid..." The narc mumbled at Star, confusing her. "Promise me that by the time I get back, Floyd is still alive. Otherwise I'll chase you to hell with that diamond bottle," he pointed at Floyd's prison, and Star realized he did care, but fame ruined it.

"Of course, you have my word."
