The minute he started trying to pick up a very annoyed troll, the cousins shared a look of "Why the hell did that idiot not warn us?"
Meanwhile, JD and Branch were arguing, the latter trying desperately to keep JD from revealing his secret.
"Leave Branch alone or we will use force!" Monima curls up into a ball in her human form, trying desperately not to laugh as Gia doubles over at the sight of Barb using her precious guitar to threaten JD as Branch's friends surround him, asking questions.
"Whoa, I'm his brother, chill!" That made everyone gasp and stare- while Monima and Gia looked up and facepalmed. fuck.
"Sorry dude, the only brother he has is Floyd!" Riff insists, glaring at JD while Poppy just looks confused and Branch in extreme anger.
"Yeah, my ex-brother, who left me and Floyd because we couldn't be perfect!" He snapped, spooking everyone.
"Wait-a-minute... Branch, you said no more secrets..." Poppy muttered, and Branch melted a bit.
"I-I know... but this piece of sugar might as well be dead to me," Branch declared, making sure to censor the curse word.
"Hold on, why does he look like John Dory from Brozone?" Gia's hair started getting watery with nerves as Monima's own hair lit on fire a bit.
"... I am..."
"Yeah, back when we were good enough for you!"
"Branch, if this is about leaving, then I did try to find you, but when I cam back to the tree, no one was there. I didn't you were alive until last month!"
"It's been YEARS! At least Floyd came back before that and tried to find me! You on the other hand didn't! Tell me why the hell I should give you another chance!"
"BECAUSE I WANT TO SAVE FLOYD THAT'S WHY!"
At this moment, Monima's phone rang, silencing the brothers, the younger one still in disbelief. Monima quickly flared up, scaring JD, but she calmed down and answered the phone.
"So me and the others drank ourselves into a coma and forgot to tell you-"
"He's here."
"...fuck. Give the phone to Branch."
