elle's prologue

Elle Palmer scrolled through the comment section of PopCrave's newest post feeling confused,she had just begun dating her boyfriend, Milo Manheim, but she didn't understand why people were confusing their relationship with his ex girlfriend's, mega popstar Sabrina Carpenter.

"Milo," Elle looked at her boyfriend who was laying on her bed. He had just arrived at her house mere hours before. "Why are people confusing Sabrina and I? I thought you guys broke up a few months ago."

Milo put his phone down and smiled at her, "Fans are just crazy, babe," he explained to her carefully. "You know how people can get."

Elle shrugged and laid back down. "I guess you're right. It's just a lot of people." She thought about all the comments again before finally putting her phone down and deciding to spend some much needed time with Milo, whom she hadn't seen in about 5 weeks.

It couldn't have been 20 minutes after the pair had fallen asleep that a loud knock came from outside Elle's apartment. "Open up, now!" a voice yelled from outside.

Elle and Milo jumped up quickly and walked to the door, Milo looked outside of the peep hole and sigh of relief, "It's just Sabrina and her friends."

"And why would they be here exactly?" Elle hugged herself with her cardigan.

Milo looked red in the face and swallowed hard. "I'm not sure, how about you let me handle it, though?"

Elle scoffed and pushed him aside, "Hi," she opened the door swiftly, "Can I help you?"

Rachel darted her eyes towards Milo and then back to Elle, "You're too pretty to be an accomplice to his cheating, just so you know." Chappell nodded in agreement.

"Milo, how could you?" Sabrina pleaded for an answer from the tall, brunette boy, who seemingly had nothing to say.

"I'm sorry, cheating?," Elle scoffed and looked back at Milo, who was now looking down at the ground. "He wouldn't do that, ever."

All three of the girls laughed at her statement as if she was inferior to them for thinking that her boyfriend wouldn't cheat on her. 

Milo coughed, which made every head at the door turn towards him as fast as they could, "I'm sorry, Sabrina," he turned towards Elle, "And I'm sorry, Elle, I just loved you both so much-" Elle cut him off quickly.

"So it is true? You did cheat on me?," Her voice trailed off as her mind began to race. "I have to call Conan and Olivia, I need them here." Elle pulled out her phone to quickly text her two best friends, when her roommate and other best friend, Sammy Burke came downstairs in a frantic state.

"What the hell is going on, Elle?" Her eyes darted over to the three celebrities standing in front of her. "Oh shit, you're Sabrina Carpenter," she peered over her shoulder, "And you're Chappell Roan." She looked at Rachel and smiled, "And you're Rachel Zegler, why are they here again Elle?"

"Because Milo is a cheater." Sabrina spoke loud and clear. Her eyes were filled with feminine rage and her voice with even more.

Sammy looked dumbfounded, "You cheated on Sabrina Carpenter?," Elle scoffed and hit her arm, "Sorry, you cheated on Sabrina Carpenter and Elle Palmer?"

Milo began to reply but was interrupted by the sound of Conan and Olivia running out of their apartment over to Elle's. Sabrina glanced at Olivia and looked down before she started to reminisce on her messy past with the girl, which had since been resolved

Olivia and Conan finally made it up beside Elle, "We heard everything," Conan explained quickly. "I was listening from my bedroom window waiting for you to text me back." Elle cracked a small smile and nudged the boy. "Milo, you need to leave now." Conan looked at the boy and shook his head.

"I was just getting ready to, I just want to say I'm sorry, again." He put his bag over his shoulder and walked to his car without looking back at the group of girls with the exception of Conan.

Elle Palmer could not believe that her life had turned upside down within 20 minutes.
