Kiara swallowed hard, her breathing shaky and echoing through the phone as her eyes stayed locked on the gruesome sight before her.

Her brain was screaming at her to look away from the mangled body, but she was frozen in shock and fear, hot tears streaming down her face.

Kiara made her way into the hallway, her brown eyes wide and glazed over in fear, could she make it out the door?

"I'm calling the police.." she croaked into the phone, shakily getting ready to dial 911, but the person on the other line laughed at her, "they'd never get here in time" they said.

Kiara screamed as her doorbell chimed, "who's there!" She cried, "don't you know to never ask 'who's there'? That's a death wish" the person mocked.

"now. You have one more question.. if you win you live" The person taunted, "w-what..?" She breathed out.

"Which door am I at?" The person asked and Kiara's blood ran cold, she had three doors to open her house, a front, back and slide in glass door- the person could be anywhere.

She yelped as a chair suddenly came flying through the slide in glass door, bolting to the kitchen and grabbing a large knife.

Kiara clutched the knife and phone in her hand as she snuck out the back door, pressing her back against the house and covering her mouth with her hand, her body trembling with fear and adrenaline.

She crept over the window, leaning up on her knees and looking through, her breath fogging the glass slightly.

Kiara nearly screamed as she saw someone in a black robe and mask going through her living room, smacking her hand over her mouth and squeezing her legs together so she didn't piss herself from fear.

She squeezed her eyes shut then opened them, screaming as the hand crashed through the window and harshly clutched her throat.

She wheezed and hit the person in the head with the phone before falling backwards onto the lawn.

Kiara scrambled to her feet and took off running, crying out as the second person drove the knife right into her sternum, the hand covering her mouth as she tumbled to the ground.

She whimpered and headbutted the person, choking as they grabbed her throat, crushing her vocal cords.

Kiara crawled across the lawn, seeing Mike and Anna's car pull in- she tried screaming for them as they made it to the front porch, but it was no use, she had no voice.

The person flipped her onto her back and straddled her- the blood from the initial stab was steadily flowing and staining her gray sweater a dark crimson.

Her face was covered in sweat, her brown eyes glazed over and unfocused as the person raised the knife.

Kiara had enough strength to reach out with a shaky hand- taking off the mask and sobbing as she saw the face of her killer.

That's all it took for them to drive the knife into her stomach, smirking as they slit her from groin to sternum, relishing in the fact that she couldn't scream.

And when Mike and Anna came out, seeing their daughter hanging in the large oak tree by her own intestines- her eyes still open in wide eyed fear?

They knew this was only the beginning of the horror this town would face.
