Ambika's POV✨

We reached Delhi an hour ago and now me and Reyansh are standing in front of my house. Abhir is standing beside us as he comes to India with us. We just dropped Karan and Divya at their house. As she was tired as hell and traumatized the incidents happened over there. I told Reyansh to go back to Mumbai but he ignored me. I don't even know how to face him properly and talk to him after the incident that happened. Abhir reassured me that everything is fine and he doesn't know anything as it wasn't a big deal but I don't know what to say.

I'm feeling a mix of emotions and most of all I was feeling like a wreck.

I rang the bell but there was no response. I rang the bell again and the door swung opened. There stood my mother. As soon as she saw me tears welled up in her eyes and she engulfed me in a fierce hug. She cried on my shoulder and asked,"Kaha thi tu bacha? Kitne call kiye tune ek bhi nahi uthaya. Itne din se kya kar rahi thi? Tujhe pata bhi hai hum kitni chinta kar rahe the teri. Tere dadu ki tabiyat..." She started sobbing in my arms.
(Where were you my child? We called you so many times but you didn't even pick one. What were you doing for so many days? Do you even know in how much tension were we? Your grandfather's health...)

I asked her,"What happened to Dadu? Maa please tell me."

Even though I know that his condition is because of stress but still I can't let them know that I knew it.

After seeing her condition I also started crying. Reyansh stood behind me and was moving his hand up and down my back soothingly. Hearing us, my family gathered in the hall. Papa, dadi, bhai, Pari bhabhi all were present there and Aadhira was in Bhabhi's arms looking at me with curious eyes. She's so cute and beautiful. My mother parted away with me and I moved towards my father. He looked at me with a sorrowful and guilty gaze.

He engulfed me in a protective hug and said,"Kaha thi bacha? Hum sab tera intezar kar rahe the." I replied with guilt,"I returned to London after the incident. I didn't want to show my face to someone. Why are you feeling guilty, it was me who left her there; it was all my fault. Please forgive me."
(Where were you my child? We were waiting for you.)

He said with tearful eyes,"No, it was not your fault. Stop blaming yourself for something you didn't do. In fact I am sorry that I failed to protect you." We broke the hug and I said,"Please don't say sorry."

And then I moved towards Pari bhabhi and she asked," Kaisi hai? Kisine pareshan to nahi kiya na? And don't blame yourself for everything. It was all god's plan. See she is healthy and happy."

(How are you? Did somebody bother you?)

I didn't take aadhira from her arms. I smiled looking at the little angel. MY PRINCESS

"Don't you want to hold her ?" Bhabhi asked while looking at me.

I shook my head.

"Let it be " I slowly replied ignoring the hurt I can see in her eyes.

Even though I am feeling so bad but I can't help. He doesn't want me to see his daughter that day even though I begged so much. So I am not going to hold her until he ask me to by himself and gets to know how much damage he did to my heart that day.

I can't forget what he did to me that day when I needed him and everyone most but he asked me to go and never show my face again.

She was looking at me with a hurtful gaze.

I saw Bhai from the corner of my eyes. He was looking at me with guilt filled eyes. He walked toward me but I ignored him after all he was the person who slapped me and told me to get lost and never come in front of him.
