Abhir and Ambika came outside the room and Ambika was about to put her feet on stairs but Abhir pulled her.

"What happened?" Abhir asked softly she was looking down and didn't meet his gaze.

She shook her head and tried to get from his hold but he held her face between his index finger and thumb and made her look up at him.

He can see the hurt and pain in her eyes which she is trying to mask.

"You don't need to hide your pain from me, you know naa main hamesha hoon tumhare saath " he said and this only took she hugged him tightly but didn't cry.

Tears are at the corner of her eyes but she is trying her best not to cry because she knows if she did, she will not be able to control her emotions.

Downstairs.

REYANSH arrived with his family and everyone settled downstairs in the garden and she was looking for only one face.

HIS MOONSHINE.

" Aap log baithe main abhi aata hoon " he said and left in search of her who is not picking up his call.

Ambika picked his call and said coming in 2 minutes but it's been 8 minutes and he is dying to see her.

He reaches upstairs and saw Abhir and Ambika standing there hugging each other.

He looked at them in confusion.

Ambika has kept her forehead on Abhir's chest and he has kept his chin on the crown of her head.

Reyansh goes to them and slowly called her,

"Moonshine"

She quickly wiped her unshed tears and looked at him with teary eyes and a sad smile.

He forwarded his handkerchief towards her and said,

" Maana ki Abhir jitna dil ke pass nahi hai apke, par itna bhi gair mat kijiye ki aansu chupane padhe aur yeh jhuthi muskan dikhani pade "

He said and she looked at him and the cascade of her tears broke down.

( I know, I am close to you as much as Abhir. But at least don't make me feel so much as a stranger that you have to hide your tears from me by showing this fake smile )
