As the evening settled in, the cozy warmth of the fire filled the cottage, casting a soft orange glow over the room. Y/n sat curled up on the couch, a blanket wrapped around him, while the Archons gathered around, talking quietly among themselves. It had been a peaceful day, but as the reality of their upcoming journey began to sink in, Y/n’s mind wandered to questions that had been lingering in his thoughts.

After a few moments of silence, he spoke up, his voice hesitant. “I’ve been thinking about something… What if, when we go to the new country, people recognize you? I mean, you were… well, you were once gods. Even if it’s been a long time, isn’t there a chance someone could remember?”

The room fell quiet as the Archons turned their attention to Y/n. Zhongli, who had been sitting by the fire with a cup of tea in hand, looked at Y/n thoughtfully, his amber eyes reflecting the flickering flames.

“There is always a chance,” he said slowly, placing his tea down. “But the likelihood of anyone recognizing us now is incredibly low. We’ve been sealed away for hundreds of thousands of years. Most who knew of our existence are long gone.”

Venti, who had been lounging lazily by the window, chimed in with a grin. “Besides, the world has changed so much. People barely remember the old stories. Even if they did recognize us, they’d probably just think we were actors in some fancy play.”

Y/n nodded, though the worry still tugged at the back of his mind. “But… what if someone does? What if they remember?”

Raiden, who had been sitting silently near the door, spoke up then, her voice calm but unwavering. “If someone were to recognize us, we could easily change our appearance to avoid any issues. We may have been sealed away, but we still have power over how we present ourselves.”

The Tsaritsa, who had been quietly watching Y/n from her seat, added with a soft, almost reassuring tone, “And if anyone were to become a threat to us or to you, they would be swiftly dealt with. We won’t let anything harm you.”

Y/n shifted slightly on the couch, pulling the blanket tighter around his shoulders. He appreciated their reassurances, but the idea of being in a new place with so much uncertainty still made him uneasy.

“So… you can just change how you look?” Y/n asked curiously, glancing at each of the Archons in turn.

Nahida, sitting beside him on the couch, smiled sweetly. “Yes, we can. We may no longer be in our divine forms, but we still possess abilities that allow us to manipulate our appearance if necessary.”

Mavuika, who had been leaning against the wall, gave a small nod in agreement. “It’s a simple precaution. If it eases your mind, we will take care of it.”

Y/n felt a little more relaxed hearing that. “Okay… that does make me feel better. I just didn’t want to cause any trouble for you, or, well, for me.”
