The sun was warm and golden, filtering down through the trees as Y/n sat beside Amber on a bench in a small park, their surroundings filled with the laughter and chatter of children playing in the distance. It had been years since the war with the gods, years since Y/n’s life had changed so drastically. But today, with the peaceful sound of the world around him, it felt like those times were far behind him, almost like a distant dream.
Amber’s daughter, a bright-eyed girl of about six, sat at Y/n’s feet, looking up at him with wide, curious eyes. She had just heard a story that most would consider unbelievable, but the way Y/n told it, it sounded like something out of a fairy tale.
“And that’s how you married six archons?!” she asked, her voice filled with wonder.
Y/n chuckled, leaning back against the bench as he looked down at her. He nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. “Yes, that’s how it happened,” he replied. “Though I think there’s a bit more to it than just that.”
The girl’s eyes sparkled with awe, her mind clearly racing to piece together what it must have been like. “You’re so cool, Uncle Y/n! You must have been so brave to fight those big, bad gods!”
Amber laughed softly, shaking her head as she watched her daughter. “Alright, sweetheart,” she said gently, “why don’t you go play with the other kids for a little while? Let Uncle Y/n and I catch up.”
The little girl nodded enthusiastically, waving to Y/n before scampering off to join the group of children playing nearby. As she ran off, Y/n watched her for a moment, a gentle smile still on his face. It was hard to believe how much time had passed. The world had changed so much, and so had he.
Amber turned to him, her expression soft but curious. “You really have settled into this new life, haven’t you?” she said, her tone warm but filled with the unspoken question that had been lingering between them since they sat down.
Y/n glanced at her, a small sigh escaping him as he leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “Yeah… I guess I have,” he replied quietly, his eyes following her daughter’s movements. “It’s still strange sometimes, though. Thinking about how everything happened.”
Amber’s smile faded slightly as she studied his face. “It must be,” she said, her voice gentler now. “I mean, one minute you were just… well, Y/n, and then suddenly, you were at the center of this huge conflict with the gods and demons. And now, you’re married to six archons.” She laughed softly, shaking her head. “It sounds like something out of a legend.”
Y/n smiled but didn’t say anything right away. Instead, he let the memories wash over him, the moments that had brought him to where he was now. He thought of Venti’s carefree laughter, Raiden’s quiet strength, Zhongli’s wisdom, Focalors’ fiery spirit, Mavuika’s protectiveness, and the Tsaritsa’s cold exterior that hid a deep, passionate love. Each of them had shaped him, and each of them had become a part of him in ways he never thought possible.
