Rudransh had been gone for three days, and Jasmine saw her chance.
He had received a phone call and left immediately, telling Ariya he would be away for four days. Jasmine had been waiting for this moment, and she wasn't going to let it slip awayShe spent the first two days observing the guards' routines, looking for a weakness in the security. She noted the timing of their patrols, the blind spots in the cameras, and the lock mechanisms on the gates. And then, she saw it- a small window of opportunity on the third night, when the guards would be distracted by a delivery at the east wing.
Jasmine waited until midnight, her heart racing with excitement and fear. She snuck out of her room, avoiding the guards and making her way to the garden. The moon was full, casting eerie shadows on the ground. She moved swiftly, her bare feet making barely a sound on the cold stone path.
From the garden, she planned to reach the gate and freedom. But just as she was about to climb the wall, she heard a voice behind her.
"Going somewhere, Dear Dollface?"
Jasmine's heart sank. Rudransh stood before her, his eyes gleaming in the moonlight. He was dressed in a black suit, his tie loosened, and his hair disheveled. He looked like he had been travelling, but his eyes were alert and piercing.
"You're back early," she said, trying to sound calm.
"I was worried about you," Rudransh replied, his voice low and menacing. "I didn't think you'd try to escape so soon." Jasmine knew she had underestimated him. Rudransh was always one step ahead. Her plan had failed, and she was back to square one.
"Well, we will talk about it later," Rudransh said, his grip on her hand tightening. "Right now, you come with me. There is more important work than your childish games."
Jasmine felt a surge of fear as Rudransh led her towards his study room. Aryan stood at the gate, his eyes fixed on Jasmine with a hint of satisfaction. As Rudransh approached, he said, "Good work, Aryan."
Aryan nodded slightly, his gaze still locked on jasmine. She felt a pang of realization - Aryan had been watching her, reporting her moves to Rudransh. Her plan had failed because of him.
Rudransh's grip on her hand tightened, leading her Into the study room. Jasmine knew she was in trouble, and Aryan's Smile confirmed it. He had been the one to foil her escape, and now she would face the consequences.
The room was dimly lit, with only a few flickering candles Illuminating the space. The air was thick with the scent of old books and leather.
Jasmine's eyes adjusted slowly, and she saw the familiar sight of Rudransh's study. The walls were lined with towering bookshelves, and the large oak desk sat in the center of the room.
Rudransh released her hand and walked over to the desk, his movements fluid and confident.
"Sit down, Dollface," he said, gesturing to the chair opposite the desk.
Jasmine hesitated for a moment before complying. She knew she was in trouble, and her mind was racing with possibilities.
Rudransh sat down behind the desk, his eyes fixed intently on Jasmine. "So, you tried to escape, Again," he said, his voice low and even.
Jasmine nodded, feeling a surge of defiance. "I had to try." She said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Rudransh leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together.
"I understand," he said. "But you should know that escape is Impossible. This mansion is designed to keep people in, not out."
Jasmine felt a shiver run down her spine. she knew Rudransh was right, but she couldn't help feeling trapped and desperate.
Jasmine met Rudransh's gaze, her eyes flashing with determination.
"I won't give up." she said, her voice firm. "I'll find a way out of here, no matter what."
Rudransh raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement on his face. "You're stubborn, I'll give you that," he said. "But you're also reckless. You don't know what you're up against."
"I Know I'm a prisoner," Jasmine retorted. "And I know you're Keeping me here against my will. That's all I need to know."
Rudransh leaned forward, his eyes glinting in the candlelight.
"You're not just a prisoner, Jasmine," he said. "You're a Key player in a much larger game. And you don't even know the rules."
Jasmine snorted. "I don't care about your games," she said. "I just want to be free."
Rudransh smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "Freedom is an illusion," he said. "You'll learn that soon enough."
Just then, a Knock came at the door. Rudransh's head jerked up, his eyes narrowing. "Enter," he called out.
The door opened, and a tall, Imposing man stepped inside.
"He came," he said, his voice low and gravelly.
Rudransh's expression changed, his eyes gleaming with interest. "We have... business to attend to," he said, his gaze flicking to Jasmine.
"Show us," he said to the man, who nodded and connected his phone to the television, and a video call appeared on the Screen. A man's face filled the frame, and he said, "Hello, sir. He's right here. You can talk to him."
Rudransh nodded, his eyes fixed on the screen. The man on the call handed the phone to another man, who appeared on screen. Rudransh gestured to Jasmine to look towards the T.V. . As Soon as she saw the man's face, Jasmine immediately got up from her chair, her eyes wide with shock.
One word came out of her mouth:
"Bhaiya."
Her eyes were fixed on the screen, her face pale. Rudransh's gaze flicked to her, a hint of curiosity on his face.
