Summary
The party went well but...
Buck gets injured on a call

Bucks PoV
"For fuck sake".
Eddie heard my mumble and put a hand on my back. I slowly walked forward into the house and gave a nervous smile.

Bobby hugged me "happy birthday buck". I sighed and hugged him back "you know I don't like birthdays Bobby"

He laughed "I don't care. We're gonna celebrate". Athena walked over and hugged me aswell.

After a while we had said our hello's and hi's to everyone and I got a drink. Everyone was fussing Ella so Eddie came over to me.

"How are you". I smiled at him "I'm ok. I just don't like all the attention". Eddie nodded and rubbed my back "lucky for you, you have a cute baby who's the star"

I laugh and look over. Ella and Chris are staying at chimney and Maddie's house as they aren't drinking and also me and Eddie have an early shift tomorrow.

Later that night
The party was really good. I ended up enjoying myself and got very drunk... Eddie is guiding me to the car to go home.

I'm laughing and clinging to him and he's got a massive grin on his face and he buckles me in "you're gonna me regretting this cariño when you have a hangover for work"

I just laugh and he starts to drive.

Eddies PoV
The next morning
I wake up early and open the curtains 3AM. Fabulous. I kiss bucks forehead "wake up baby".

He lets out a long groan "hangover?". He nods and I laugh "hate to say I told you so. Il go get you some medicine. Get ready for work"

When I came back into the bedroom he was slowly getting dressed. I ran my hand down his bare back

He tilted his head back and I kissed him. "Open wide baby". He did as I said so I put the medicine in his mouth and a bit of water "swallow"

He finished getting ready and by the time we got to work he was feeling a lot better.

We made our way upstairs and joined the rest of the crew and as soon as I sat down the bell rang out.

We ran and got our turnouts on and jumped in the truck.

Once we arrived at the call we got out and Bobby ordered us what to do. We got the fire out quickly but then I saw someone running at buck with something in there hand.

Bucks PoV
I was just putting the hose down and I looked up and saw someone running at me. They didn't look worried or scared. They looked very mad.

He grabbed me and held a knife against my throat and the whole team froze.

Bobby approached us "let my firefighter go" the guy pressed the knife more into my throat "this is what you get for ruining my life"

Everyone looked confused and Bobby took another step forward "what do you mean"

The guy pressed the knife more into my neck and I could feel blood drip down my skin. "You arrested my dad for a cafe fire."

Bobby called Athena and took another step forward but the guy just pressed the knife down more "don't come any closer or I will kill him"

Bobby froze in place. He worked on keeping him calm and eventually Athena arrived with a team of police officers.

They came towards us and I felt the guy tense "please let me go"
The guy looked at me "just shut the fuck up or I will kill you"

Athena walked up to him and tried to reason it out and get him to let me go. The guy was just getting more angry and more emotional.

He took the knife off of my neck and jabbed it into my stomach.

Eddies PoV
Time felt like it slowed as we saw buck get stabbed in the stomach. The officers raised there guns and the guy pulled the knife back out and stabbed him again in his shoulder. The police shot him and he fell to the floor.

I rushed over to buck and he collapsed to his knees and then fell to the ground. His eyes were slightly open "stay with me baby. Just breathe. Please"
