Madison makes her way down the busy streets to get to work, she was let go at her recent job at the Insurance office. She didn't realize she was in the path of an older man who happened to have coffee in his hand. She bumped into him, the hot liquid running down her arms burning her sensitive skin on its way down.
"Watch where your going asshole!" The man shouted staring down at her.Her arm burnt terribly but she carried on her way. Once she got to work she pulled ice from the ice machine and hoped her arms would stop burning.
The burning continued trough out her whole work day until arriving home. She soaked her arm in ice in hopes things would settle.
Her phone buzzed so she reached in her pocket and grabbed it.
Morgan: 5:30 pm.
Hey, figured I'd text you since I've finally got your number lol.Madison: 5:31 pm.
Hey, nice thinking lol.Morgan: 5:32 pm.
You into golf? That new top golf place is open, thought it might be fun for us if your free.Madison: 5:33 pm.
Yeah! That sounds good, what time?Morgan: 5:34 pm.
I mean, now is good, if that'll work for you.Madison: 5:35 pm.
Of course! See you then."Shit" she mumbled under her breath as she lifted her arm from the ice. After getting up she shook off the pain and changed into something comfortable and started to drive.
Upon arriving she spotted Morgan standing at his truck. "Hey" she mumbled hopping out of her jeep.
"Hey, what the hell happened?" He asked his voice filled with concern as he looked at her arm."Just, a coffee spill, it's nothing" she brushed off. He took a second look and this time he grabbed her arm gently pulling it closer to his vision.
"Madison, that looks terrible, have you been somewhere for it?" He asks. She shook her head wincing as he ran his finger over it. "Sorry"
"But seriously that's bad" he mumbled. "I'll go somewhere after this, i ain't got time for doctors offices" she mentions.
Morgan agreed and walked in with her. After a couple swings her arm was throbbing. "Ready for the doctor yet?" Morgan asks.
He had figured out she was stubborn and independent so he played into it. "No, I have 7 swings left and I didn't just pay 50 bucks to waste them" she argued.
"How bout I pay you 50 extra bucks to go to the doctor" he offers. "No" she stayed persistent. She winced after her last swing and let out a shaky breath as she sat down.
"You ok?" He asks, full concern in his voice. "I'm, fine" she said between breaths. "Your not though" he replies.
"Can you piss off for a second?" She snapped. "Yes ma'am, pissing off" he replies.
"Soo, should we go to the doctors or?" He asks, she gave in and nodded wincing at the pain in her arm.
"Can you drive?" He asks. "Does it look like I can drive?" She asks, her tone stressed."Okay, sorry"
He started to drive and occasionally glanced at her on his way. Upon arriving she walked in, Morgan behind her.
He didn't know her well, and didn't wanna freak her out by being overly supportive.A couple minutes passed before she was called back and Morgan stayed in the waiting room. He waited until hearing her again. "All done, they're 1st degree" she mentions.
