Later that week, they found themselves sneaking into one of the unused practice rooms. It had been a busy day filled with rehearsals and interviews, and they hadn’t had a single moment to themselves.
As soon as the door clicked shut behind them, Minho grabbed Jisung’s wrist, pulling him into his arms. Jisung laughed as he stumbled into Minho’s chest, wrapping his arms around his neck.
"Someone’s eager," Jisung teased, grinning up at Minho.
Minho smirked, his eyes dark with affection and desire. "I’ve been thinking about you all day. Can’t blame me."
Jisung’s heart fluttered at his words, and he couldn’t help but pull Minho in for a kiss. This kiss was different from the one on the rooftop. It was faster, hungrier, both of them desperate to feel each other after hours of pretending nothing had changed between them.
Minho’s hands roamed Jisung’s body, sliding down his slim waist to pull him closer, until there was no space left between them. Jisung responded by tilting his head, deepening the kiss as he pressed himself into Minho’s embrace.
They broke apart only when they were both breathless, chests heaving as they stared at each other, their faces flushed. Jisung laughed softly, resting his forehead against Minho’s.
"Every time I kiss you, it gets better," Jisung whispered, his fingers tracing small circles on the back of Minho’s neck.
Minho grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Good. Because I plan on doing it a lot."
Jisung’s laughter filled the room as he kissed Minho again, softer this time, savoring the feeling of Minho’s lips against his.
For a moment, they forgot about everything else—their schedules, their responsibilities, the pressure of keeping their relationship a secret. All that mattered was the warmth of each other’s touch, the comfort of knowing that what they had was real.
They stayed like that for a while, holding each other in the dim light of the practice room, their world reduced to the quiet sound of their breathing and the steady beat of their hearts.
In those moments, hidden away from the world, they didn’t have to pretend anymore.

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the practice room where Jisung and Minho had spent countless hours rehearsing. They had just finished a grueling dance session, sweat glistening on their skin, laughter echoing off the walls. But tonight, something felt off.
As they collapsed onto the floor, panting and exhilarating, Minho pulled out his phone, scrolling through social media. Jisung leaned in, trying to catch a glimpse, when Minho’s expression shifted from joy to confusion, then to something darker.
“What’s wrong?” Jisung asked, his heart sinking at the change in Minho's demeanor.
“Just… look,” Minho said, turning the phone toward Jisung. On the screen was a trending post featuring a fan’s video compilation titled "Minho’s New Romance?" The video showcased moments of Minho with another idol—a playful interaction at an event that had sparked rumors of a budding relationship.
Jisung’s stomach twisted. He felt a mix of anger and jealousy boiling within him. “What the hell? They’re just friends!”
“I know,” Minho replied, his voice low. “But you know how these things go. One little moment, and people blow it out of proportion.”
“But we’re… we’re not just friends,” Jisung said, his voice barely a whisper. The weight of their unspoken feelings pressed down on him, making it hard to breathe.
“Right?” Minho’s eyes searched Jisung’s, desperation flickering in his gaze. “But how do we explain that to the world? I don’t want them to think I’m leading you on or that I don’t care about you. This whole situation is just… overwhelming.”
Jisung’s heart raced, a whirlwind of insecurities flooding his mind. What if the rumors were true? What if everyone saw them as just another pair of idols playing a part? Would their feelings survive the scrutiny of the public eye?
“I just don’t want to lose you,” Minho admitted, his voice cracking slightly. “You mean so much to me, but what if they decide they want to see us with someone else?”
The fear in Minho’s eyes mirrored Jisung’s own turmoil. “You’re not going to lose me,” he said, forcing confidence into his tone. “But… I can’t shake the feeling that we’re playing a dangerous game. What if someone finds out about us before we’re ready?”
Minho sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration. “We have to find a way to make this work, Jisung. I can’t bear the thought of losing you to rumors or jealousy.”
The weight of uncertainty hung between them, thick and suffocating. In that moment, their bond felt fragile, as if a single breath could shatter everything they had built together. Jisung wanted to reassure Minho, to promise that they would navigate this together, but doubt gnawed at him.
As the night wore on, the laughter faded, replaced by an unshakable tension. They sat in silence, each lost in their thoughts, the shadows of doubt creeping in, threatening to drown out the melodies of their hearts.
