Time skip, Summer break.
School had just ended, and finally, I could take a break from all that academics. Yet, sometimes I miss her even though it has been just two days.
But we kept in touch, we'd call and chat. I'd listen to her as she talked and we'd laugh.
"Oh my god, Lex! I miss you!" She spoke as she groaned dramatically.
"Me too!" I responded as I smiled at her words.
"We should like hang out soon!"
"We should! Good idea!"
We would talk for hours, planning to go to the mall to try the new rollerskates there. We would plan on when. As we carried on, we gossiped, trash-talking, and just talked.
She would turn on her camera, and there she was. Still looks the same as ever.
Beautiful.
She would tell me how she bought new things and what are the things she brought.
"Look it's so cute!" She commented showing me a blue pocket mirror with a little frog.
"It does!" I agreed.
"Oh, we went to eat at some restaurant. And like I there were cosplayers there. They all look pretty!" She spoke as she explained about the cosplayers.
"You should've asked them for a pic."
"Yeah, but that's so embarrassing."
"How is that even embarrassing?"
"I don't know!"
We continued to laugh and talk. We continued for hours that felt like minutes. But she had to bid farewell for dinner.
"Bye, Lex!"
"Bye, Jul!"

Romance"I love her." I spoke looking down at the ground as tears threatened to spill from my eyes. "But does she love you back?..." My friend spoke and that question made me silent. Does she? Yes, but only as a friend.
