- Chris -
"This gun is awesome. I highly recommend it." I say to my best friend, Jacob.
"Yeah? It looks plain to me."
"You can customize it if you'd like. My gun has flashlights."
"That's so cool!"
* Kris *
In with the geeky talk, these two.
I bet they're the only ones who understand each other right now.
Chris is so witty and he knows a lot of things--- in a good way.
"How about it, sis? Do you think mom will buy me a gun?" Jacob asks me.
"I doubt." I sigh, knowing my hot-tempered mom. She would freak out if she knew Jacob wants to buy a gun. She'd think it's the real thing and even if you convince her it's a toy-- She will remain unconvinced.
"I know. Mom says as long as it's a shape of a gun, works like a gun, or is called a gun, it's dangerous." Jacob grunted.
"Ugh. Your mom's annoying." Chris sighs, checking out the target boards on the left.
"I know." Jacob heaves another sigh.
"Let's just go home. You're not going to buy anything anyway."
"Yeah. Wait! Let me take a few pictures just in case. Who knows? Mom might be convinced." Jacob says, taking a few pictures of several guns using his phone.
After taking a few pictures, Chris slung his arm around Jacob's shoulder and started walking while I, trailed behind them.
It's been a mere three hours since we arrived at the shop.
I was doing nothing but watching the both of them ramble things about the guns.
It's complicated. Period.
"What are we going to do when we get home?" Chris asked Jacob, looking extremely bored.
"I don't know. Videogames?"
"Again? That's so boring."
"Well, sorry. We don't have a swimming pool unlike your house."
"You should definitely go to my house." Chris suggests.
"I should. My mom doesn't allow me to sleep in other people's houses though." Jacob whines.
"You're a baby."
"Says the guy who wets his pants."
"I do not!!" Chris slaps Jake.
I laughed to myself and shook my head.
I couldn't possibly like this guy.
They're still kids.
We arrived home around one in the afternoon, I parked the car in the garage and the two boys jumped out of the car as soon as I stopped.
"No way, man. Emma Stone is ugly."
"Say what??" I gaped, eyeing on Chris' sudden outburst.
"She's like the hottest actress in Hollywood right now!" Jacob cooed, drooling.
"She looks old. I hate it. I hate older girls. They look ugly to me." Chris scoffed.
Ouch.
That doesn't hurt at all.
"She just looks mature. Mature is good." Jacob defensively replied.
"Whatever. I just don't like her. I hate cougars and you know that." Chris says once more, checking his phone and heading to our front door.
