chapter 4: i dissapear in thin air

sorry for the cliffhanger last time.

"Whats happening? why are you dissapearing!?" she screams, sounding scared. i feel the rest of my body slowly dissapearing, esp's voice slowly sounding more and more distant.

then everything goes black.

im laying on the ground, i feel soft grass touching my back. i slowly start to wake up, having a massive headache, i open my eyes, just to stare into a pair of green and pink eyes, i recognise them as esp's eyes. i open my mouth, to try and say something but close them, as i suddenly realised. we were not on the beach anymore. i started to look around trying to recognise things, but it looked like a completly different planet.

I finnaly managed to mumble out 'were are we? what is this place?'

"im sorry, but i don't know, but i see some lights there, we should get you checked out over there" esp said, with a concerned voice, while checking me for injuries.

"im sorry", i say with a genuïne tone,"i didn't mean to lash out on you at the beach"

before esp replies she pulls me into a hug, before mumbling:"its fine, i know you didn't mean to, you're forgiven, now lets go to those lights" she says, while pulling away from the hug, before helping me get up.

as Ill try to stand up I almost immediatly lose my balance, but luckily esp catches me. as I slowly start to find my balance esp looks at me woriedly. I try to ignore is as I start to slowly walk to the small lights in the distance, esp quickly following. as we walk we try to figure out were in the world we are, but we have no clue.

as we come closer to the lights, we see its multiple buildings, most likely a town of some sorts. the town looks emty, like no one lives there, if it weren't for the lights. we continued to walk to the village in silence, walking over the fields of grass. when we came closer we noticed something, the eardefening silence, you couldn't hear a single soul talk.

we continued to walk to the village, now more carefull, as we almost arived at the first building of the village we could suddenly hear voices, they were sudden, you couldn't have missed them, and they started very suddenly. as we walk into the village we see a figure in the darkness of the night, me and esp get scared and quickly enter a building.

"someone is here sweetheart!" you could hear a very excited voice shout to what you could only expect to be some kind of husband, or wife. i looked around, expecting to be in some kind of house, but instead found us to be in some kind of bar, as i looked around you could hear someone come down the stairs, tucked away in the corner. as i looked over there i saw a chubby woman walk down the stairs, she looked overly excited to see us. "oh well hello sweathearts, what brings you 2 in this town so late at night?" she said in an excited tone.

"we'll, we kinda, just woke up, like a kilometer out of this town, we dont know we're we are, like wich country are we even in?" as i explained the situation she looked a litle worried but then seemed to realise something and nodded.

"well how about you 2 go and sit down, ill bring you 2 some food." we sat down as she walked to the bar, before asking a question: "so how are you 2 called?"

"well im called estrella, and this is esp." i said, at my name her expression turned a little shocked as if she was suprised.

"okay, okay, thats interesting, so how old are you 2?" she said while starting to chop up some unions.

"We're both 16." esp said, with a carefull tone.

"mh, okay. Jason get you're ass down here you lasy idiot, we need to discuss something!" she said, well the last part shouted actually, whille trowing some of the vegetables in the pot. we heard a sigh upstairs, before a tall man came downstairs, looking at us, his face supriced, before turning his attention to what I suspected to be his wife. they quitly started to discus something, most certainly about us, since they kept glancing at us.

as the minutes passed, I couldn't help but smell the aroma's of the food the woman was cooking, and my stumach started to rumble. suddenly the 2 people stopped talking. while the woman started to put some food on some plates the man walked over to us. he quetly sat down in front of esp. a few akward moments the woman walked over to us, holding 2 plates of food that looked increadible, and smelled increadible to. as she put it down in front of me and esp and we both started eating like we haden't eaten in weeks. the pair just watched us eat in silence, as we were both finished the woman started to talk.

"so, I have quite an importand question, have you noticed any wierd things the day before you came here." she looked at me, just after i took a sip of my drink, quickly swallowing it.

"yes definetly." i answered, wondering why she asked that.

"could you explain." she asked in a curious voice, coming a little closer as to hear me beter.

"well this morning, well I think it was this morning." she nods, listening to me. "I got really dizzy, and i woke up in the hospital, and i looked purple, I still look purple to be fair, but everyone keeps saying im just making it up."

as I finish the sentence, she looks at her husband, he nods and she turns back to me, before saying:

"Estrella, you're a goddess"

im kinda proud of how quickly i wrote this after the next one.
