I start searching for the button that'll allow us to hear Sammy and Darius. "We still can't hear you!" I inform the two who keep trying to communicate with us. "Uh, everyone, start randomly hitting buttons." I tell the group as they do so. Ben and Kenji were watching the cameras as Yuichiro and Brooklynn were searching on one side of the controls, with me and Yaz on the other side.
"Guys, what's Darius saying now?" Ben asks as we all glance at the screen, seeing the saddened face of Sammy. I hurry in searching for the button before seeing an unlabeled one on the far end of the desk.
"Guys, I think I found it." I tell the group, pressing the button so we can finally hear what Darius and Sammy are talking about.
"I have to! This is all my fault." Darius tells Sammy.
"What are you talking about?" Sammy questions him. Darius sighs.
"Look, the only reason Mitch and Tiff know about the watering hole is because I showed them. I'm the one who didn't listen to Brooklynn and Y/N. The dinosaurs are in danger because of me. I promised you all that I'd get you home. And I... I already lost Ben." Darius explains, letting out all he had bottled up.
"Darius, that's not your fault." Sammy tells him.
"Mitch said their boat is at the northwest dock." He puts a hand on Sammy's shoulder. "Get everyone together and off the island now while Mitch and Tiff are busy." Darius explains. Before Darius can walk off Sammy stops him.
"What about you?" Sammy asks.
"I have to make this right." Darius answers. Ben heads to the speaker, turning it on.
"We got your back, Darius! Forget the boat." Ben's voice being heard shocks both Darius and Sammy. "Mitch and Tiff are going down!"
"Ben?" Darius yells out.
"You're alive?" Sammy adds.
"Oh, right! You didn't know. Yeah. Also Y/N found the sound button too, so we can hear you." Ben informs them. "And I defeated Toro." Ben adds proudly. Bumpy then roars behind us all as she's by the doorway of the room. "Bumpy also says hi." The two stay in shocked silence processing everything. "I think I broke them?" Ben tells us as I facepalm, shaking my head. Yaz suddenly moves Ben to the side a bit.
"Yeah, Ben's alive, we're very happy about it." Yaz points out before Yuichiro pushes between the two.
"You guy's should've seen Yaz when she found out." Yuichiro chuckles, Yaz shoving him away, smiling in annoyance. Brooklynn then comes over pushing all three away aggressively.
"Point is we're not going to let you do this alone. We're in." Brooklynn tells the two.
"You don't get it. You guys could get to the boat, save yourselves." Darius says to us.
"No, Darius, you don't get it. You're one of us. And you think as a worker here I'd let Mitch and Tiff get away with killing dinosaurs? No chance, buddy. We're helping either way." I informed him.
"I never liked those two anyways." Kenji tells them, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"We're staying together and leaving together." Yuichiro says standing beside Brooklynn, putting a hand on Ben's shoulder who nods, agreeing with Yuichiro.
"It's dino-savin' time! Camp fam for life!" Sammy cheers.
"Okay, now that we've established lifelong camp family status, how do we stop them?" Yaz questions us.
