"Somebody get some bandages!" I hear Darius shout. Everyone runs around in a panic as we try to get supplies we'll need to help Sammy. Yaz goes over to Sammy seeing Sammy slowly getting up with a groan. I glance at Sammy, seeing her green, ignoring everyone I head to the bandages, Brooklynn following behind me.
"We gotta hurry. She's not looking good." I tell Brooklynn.
"Agreed." Brooklynn says as the two of us run back to Sammy where Yaz is trying to comfort her.
"You know, some supplies we can get or something?" I can hear Yaz say, before I lift my head up looking towards Sammy.
"Yaz! The quills are poisonous. Y/N and I gotta take them out of her." Brooklynn informs Yaz as I sit beside Sammy, Brooklynn and Yaz on the other side.
"Ready?" I look at Brooklynn who nods. "This'll hurt so I'm really sorry in advance." I say to Sammy who's trying to stay awake. "We'll do it on the count of three... Two... one." I count down Brooklynn and I carefully and quickly take the quills out of her body. Sammy lets out a scream as Yaz hands us the bandages that she got ready for us to use.
"Sammy? Sammy? Sammy!" Yaz yells out, Sammy closing her eyes, now unconscious and breathing.
"We should take her under the shelter now." I informed the two as Brooklynn and I finished bandaging Sammy up. I looked at Yaz who looked at Sammy, worried before nodding, all of us helping Sammy under the shelter where Yaz puts a pillow under Sammy's head. Yaz holds Sammy's hand, sitting beside her while the rest of us stand close by. The poison in Sammy's body starts to move through her by how I can see her shivering and whimpering.
"Sammy, we're here." Yaz says softly, her voice sounding like it's about to break. "Everything's gonna be okay."
"Taking out the quills wasn't enough. The poison's already in her system. She needs an antidote if they have one before it gets any worse." I inform the group, thinking that their most likely is an antidote considering Dr Wu would make one for more money and predation in case he got attacked.
"Oh, sure, yeah, an antidote. That'll be easy to find, considering no one even knew this thing existed." Kenji points out, crossing his arms.
"Maybe the medical supply station has something?" Ben suggests.
"Doubt it, this thing was supposed to be kept secret." Yuichiro says.
"Kenji's right. The Scorpius Rex wasn't supposed to ever get out." Darius tells the group. Brooklynn gasps, grabbing our attention.
"The video on Wu's old lab!" Brooklynn exclaims. "He was attacked by the Scorpius, and they were giving him this shot from a red vial. I think they said antidote, I'm not-" Brooklynn gets cut off.
"Where is this lab?" Yaz asks urgently, grabbing Brooklynn by her shoulders. Brooklynn hands Yaz a map as she takes a look at it. I peek at the map as well, curious.
"Near the raptor paddock." Brooklynn tells her.
"This route will be the quickest from here." I point at the map, showing Yaz a shortcut that I know of. Yaz looks at the pathway I showed her, memorising it before giving me a nod.
"Thanks, N/N." Yaz hands the map back to Brooklynn. "Take care of Sammy until I get back." She then pushes through Darius and Kenji, starting to run off to get the antidote.
