Sammy, Yaz, Yuichiro and Darius hold a vine up that's attached to my waist as I tape the hole up again trying to make sure it holds a little longer. I sigh as a piece of the tape won't stick properly and keep trying to add more.
"Hurry up, Y/N. With the engine off, we're gonna get swept to sea or smashed on the rocks." Kenji yells out from the upper deck.
"Alright pull me up." I say as Yaz, Sammy, Yuichiro and Darius pull the vine as Yaz helps pull me up on board once I'm close to reach. "It'll hold for a bit longer." I tell them.
"We gotta fix that hole or the gas would be the least of our problems." Darius informs us as I untie the vine from around my waist.
"I thought having no GPS was the least of our problems." Kenji questions as we join the group at the back of the boat.
"Yeah, and, uh, not to add to the doom and gloom but... pretty sure we're also sinking." Yaz points out as the boat rocks.
"Nah. We're just riding low in the water because of Uh..." Kenji clears his throat as he gestures towards Bumpy. Ben gasps as he gives Bumpy a hug, glaring at Kenji.
"Do not listen to him. You're perfect the way you are." Ben whispers to Bumpy. "Isn't there some non-Dino infested dock we can get too?" Ben questions.
"The closest one is on the other side of the island. We'll never make it." Brooklynn informs us, holding the map in her hand. "We're doomed and gloomed." She sighs.
"Ha! Hold up! There is another dock not far from here." Kenji exclaims, enthusiastically. "A private dock that's not on any map." Kenji runs to the edge, posing.
"The dock near the P-house!" Yuichiro cheered, happily hi-fiving Kenji. We all looked at the two confused.
"I went before we left." Ben tells him.
"No, not the..." Kenji trailed off. "Our dad's penthouse! There's a private pier and everything."
"And you're just now telling us this?" Yaz looks at the two in disbelief.
"Okay, well, maybe we forgot..." Yuichiro trails off, nervously. "But now, we have Brooklynn's keycard to get inside!"
"So... meh." Kenji adds.
"That penthouse could have everything we need." Darius states.
"Will have everything we need. Our dad loves boats." Yuichiro tells Darius.
"Yeah! He's got all sorts of nautical junk." Kenji adds.
"To the P-house!" Darius cheers.
"To the P-house!" We all cheer along. Kenji makes it to the dock just as the last of the gas was used up.
"Welp. That was the last of the gas." I say, seeing the gas metre read empty.
"Totally worth it 'cause you're about to see the most exclusive spot on the island." Kenji tells me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. Once off the boat Kenji makes us all use the electric scooters he has at the dock, except for Ben who rode with Bumpy.
"At the Penthouse, we travel in style. It's only a short ride away. Cool, huh? Thanks to B's magic key card opening every door on the island, I'll finally get to show you guys Yuichiro and I's home away from home!" Kenji tells us as he goes around us all in a circle on the electric scooter. We all stop, frozen at the sight of a Monolophosaurus near us.
