Shiloh's POV
"I-Is Elijah, is he alive?" I asked while walking over to them rubbing my eyes because moments before this I had just woken up, I could hear running and I saw Michelle run up behind me.
"Sorry she snuck past me," Michelle said while panting.
"We can see that Michelle" Brittany retorted. I see Mary stand up and start to walk towards me and place on my shoulder "Shiloh you just misheard us, now could you please go back to your room with Michelle" Mary said.
"I'm not some dumb child, I know what I heard! Elijah *is* Alive!" I demanded
"We don't know that for sure Shiloh, now just go back with Michelle" Micah stated, I could hear the anger creeping into his voice but I wouldn't back down.
"I will not go! I heard exactly what you said and if you wanna keep lying to me I'll go find him myself!" I yelled
"Fine go ahead, nobody will even care that you leave!" he angrily yelled.
"Enough!" Brittany snapped,
"You guys are acting like children and I've had it!"
"This is getting annoying, Shiloh we believe that Elijah is alive and if we do go looking for him we do it together also could you guys fight somewhere else, I don't want to listen to your bull sh** all day so get your acts together or so help me Judah!" Brittany yelled
"What'd I do?!" Judah snapped
"Sorry Judah force of habit, but you guys are acting like children, and I've had it!" Brittany said. Brittany stands up and puts her hands on mine and Micah's shoulders.
"I've stood by you guys since the beginning of all this and I still will, but you guys are starting to get on my nerves, I know you guys miss your brother so much and I get that you don't wanna give Shiloh or anyone else false hope Micah, but Shiloh wants to help, and Shiloh you shouldn't be getting mad at your brother like that and threatening to go off on your own, they are only trying to protect you," Brittany moves her hands from our shoulders and slaps Micah and I in the head, we yell ow in unison.
"Now if you guys are done acting like babies, let's go find a dead person!" Brittany yelled triumphantly
"Yeah but where do we even start?" David asked, we all turned to him giving him a blank stare.
"I don't know, why not the old HQ?" Judah says shrugging his shoulders
"That's a good idea, we'll do that great idea Judah" Josiah says patting Judah on the shoulder.
Far away on an unknown ralo at 2000 hours(Or 9pm for anyone who doesn't know military time) is a base in an icy mountain is someone who is watching the Nelson family from cameras planted all around the new Headquarters that the Nelsons are unbeknownst to.
Unknown POV
I tightened my fist in anger at this new information the Nelson family had obtained because of one of my insolent henchmen. I bang my fist on the table and see it startles one of the guards standing at the door.
"You two!" I yell at the guards "Bring me recruit #352 Adam and if you have to bring him here by force!" I angrily yelled. They nod and head out the door just as they leave someone comes walking in "Vince buddy what's got you in such a fuss" a man says walking in. "That stupid recruit doesn't know how to follow simple fucking orders and at this point, I don't have time for your stupid jokes Arkham!" I snapped, at this point, I'm too pissed to deal with anything. Soon enough the two guards from earlier come barging in with Adam in their grasp who is kicking and screaming trying to get away from their grasp. They forcefully set him down on the chair in front of my desk and kept their grip forcefully on him while he tried to get anywhere but here.
"So do you have something to tell me #352?" I ask as calmly as I can.
"uh...um...I don't know" Adam stutters out, I reach out and grab him by the collar and slam his head onto the desk.
"You know exactly what I'm asking you! Did you or did you not sell those items when I specifically asked you to destroy them?" I know I'm shouting at this point but I don't care.
"Y-yes sir....I sold them b-but I needed the cash, I'm sorry boss!" trembled. I let go of him and pat him on the back
"It's fine, you heard the man he admitted to. I'm proud of you Adam it's all good guys," I say calmly with a smile.
"R-really sir, thank you so much!" Jay says while taking my hand and shaking it.
"No problem and I know you know why I have to do what I'm doing next" I smile at him and his face immediately goes blank.
"Guards you know what to do, and make it long-lasting, I wanna hear his screams from here" I command
"Wait no no sir! Please have mercy on me! He begs, I can see tears in his eyes but I smirk.
"This is Mercy! If my plans get ruined because of you, your punishment will be far worse than this, get him out of here now!" I yell
The two guards grab Adam and take him out of the room and Jay desperately tries to get away, I just smile as I hear him screaming for them to let him go. As soon as they are gone Arkham slams the door shut. I slam my fist on the table and glare at Arkham, I take a deep breath and ask him "How's the prisoner?"
"Still the same, they won't break even after everything we've done," Arkham says
"Why do we even keep him around, he's pissing me off," he asked
"It's part of the plan, we need him, maybe try breaking his mind it usually works....that's what I'd do, or break bones equally as effective," I say
"Now go, I fear we don't have that much time left" I added
"Whatever" Arkham says while walking out the door. I pick up a glass on my desk and throw it at a wall. After all this work I won't have my plans ruined so easily by anyone.
Arkhams POV
I walk out of the boss's office and hear a glass shatter and I know he just broke another cup, man I hate when he does that, he never picks it up. I head into the elevator and head to the containment floor, when I exit the elevator I hear screams and the sound of a whip hitting flesh....you should've listened to boss Adam, I turn the corner and walk a little further until I'm at the correct cell I need to be at. I shake the bars and sigh when he doesn't look up I unlock the cell and walk in.
"Yo _______ if you don't get up it won't be a fun night for you"
The person looks up at me and I can tell it'll be a long night.
Sorry for not posting in like 3 weeks, I'll try and be as consistent as I can with the time I have, I know I say I post on Sunday but I didn't want you guys to wait any longer for this chapter 🤭
