Saving Nya

Part way through the night, I heard shuffling. Slowly reaching for my weapon and opening my eyes, I saw that the ninja were tied up and Kai had disappeared. "KAI!" I shouted at the top of my lung. I saw a glimpse of him ahead heading towards the castle. Why is he going there all by himself? Noah appeared from the trees above, landing without making a sound. He turned to look at me and nodded before turning back to the ninja that was tied up.

I ran after Kai. Gasping for air, as I got to the entrance, I felt dizzy and couldn't get a grip. What brought me back from my head spinning was Nya and Kai's voice. Entering into the castle, I saw a shadowy figure walk his way towards Kai. That is Garmodon back when he was evil. Nya was crouched behind Kai but froze when she saw me. That drew the attention of Garmodon, who now was staring me down.

"Skye, run!" Kai yelled at me, making me run for it. I bumped into Wu on my way out.

"I know your royalty, and you must be careful, i will do my best." With that being said, he ran indoor to face Garmodon. Ky and Noah caught up now, and both stood in front of me. Lifting my head and meeting their gazes, I can tell they are worried. Ky ran on ahead and entered the castle, leaving me alone with Noah. We stood in silence for only a few moments.

"Why did you walk away earlier? Seemed like something was bothering you. Look, we all may have only just met you, but you are a queen. If you are harmed, we are all screwed Skye." Noah was really worried about me. I didn't want to drag him down with me. The gentle look in his eyes made me fall deeper, looking into them. A hold which I couldn't break out of. He yet again noticed and smiled. "In your own little world again?" He giggles, making me blush once again.

Staring at the ground, I felt a tear wanting to escape. If he knew who my uncle was, I would have probably been killed by now. They are also enemies with him, and that's what worry's me if they think we are all the same. "We will talk later right now. Ky has decided to go into the castle when we were told to stay out of the way."

Noah agreed, and we both headed in to try and get Ky to come out from the rocks. Cole jumped up and landed beside, making Noah jump as he wasn't expecting him to be there. "Wu went to the underground with the sword."

"You can go down there, but as we were talking earlier, we can't go there." I reminded Cole of our conversation from earlier. All four of the ninja huddled together and made a plan to go to Wu. Nya was left in our care. Ky was currently with her and bought her over to us as the other four jumped down.

While we were waiting, Nya was trying to question what was going on. "Last thing I remember is being in the shop with Kai and fighting off skeletons. It's weird how time can go by so quickly, and we lose track of it. Makes us wonder what we could have done so differently." What was she referring to that we shouldn't be afraid to take risks? 

Nya explained all about her time with Kai at the shop and they all listened. I was half listening, I couldn't get what she said out of my head. I felt someone staring at me. Trying to see out of the corner of my eye it was Noah. What is with him always trying to make eye contact with me. He walked closer to me and matched my pace as the other walked a little faster listening to Nya. "Have I done something wrong? I'm only trying to protect you but if I am over stepping please say."

"It's not that. Being back in the past there are some thing I wish to never see, people I don't want to see. If I did I might just..." I trail off, I couldn't finish my sentence, all my family members would be round the same age as the ninjas, what would happen if I bump into them. Noah placed a hand on my shoulder squeezing to say he was there for me. I smile while staring at the ground. 

I didn't move for a while, Noah stayed with me and the others had disappeared out of sight. It was pitch black and we couldn't see anything in front of us. The rustling of the trees made the silence creepier every second that went by. I knelt against a tree taking a deep breath, my eyes getting heavy as I slowly drift off to sleep.
