"YOU WERE MINE, YOU'RE MINE, AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MINE, " he declared, his voice a low growl as he thrust deeper into me.
"Ahh, I h-hate you," I managed to gasp, the intensity of the moment making it hard to think straight.

Sometimes, life feels unbearably hard. I often find myself wishing for an escape, but deep down, I know that isn't an option.
Every night, I cry myself to sleep, feeling like I'm carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. It often seems like my family doesn't care, and that thought stings more than I can express.
Then, one evening, my chain of thought was abruptly shattered by my mother's sharp voice:
"Aurelia Fontaine, what are you doing up there? Come downstairs now!"

"I'm already late for class, and this damn hallway is only making things worse," I muttered under my breath.
Desperation kicked in, and I broke into a run, hoping to make up for lost time.
But suddenly, I slammed into something solid-hard. I staggered back, instinctively rubbing my forehead to ease the sharp sting, only to realize I hadn't hit a wall.
It was a man. His broad chest.
Slowly, I looked up, meeting a pair of eyes that bore down into me with such intensity that I had to quickly drop my gaze.
The way he was staring-it felt like he could see straight through me. A shiver crawled down my spine.
I stood there, frozen, waiting for him to step aside, but his gaze pinned me in place.
It was clear he wasn't planning to move anytime soon. My heart pounded in my ears as the seconds stretched on.
Finally, I mustered up enough courage to mutter, "Sorry, can you please move?"
He said nothing. Just stared a little longer, as if contemplating something, before he eventually stepped aside.
The hallway was too narrow for me to pass unless he did.
I took a breath and hurried past him, feeling the weight of his gaze on my back long after I was gone.
