The revelation of my feelings for Aqua left my mind a complete mess. While I wanted nothing more than to be with Aqua, to love and cherish her as my partner, the fear of losing her repeated in my mind. Every single possible outcome flashed in my head and I wasn't sure if I could move on if something like that did happen. When I lost Benedikta, I shut down. I fear if I lost Aqua I... I'd completely lose myself. These women meant... everything to me.

Aqua: Mutasim.

Her hand shakes my shoulder, snapping me out of my thoughts. I look over at her and see her expression softening.

Aqua: Are you alright?

Mutasim: Y-Yeah. Just... I dunno. I guess I've got a lot on my mind.

Aqua: Okay. If you want to take a break, please, just tell me. I'll be happy to stop for you.

I nod and we continue walking in a new world we had landed in. We stood in what appeared to be the entrance to some kind of arena, or a coliseum. The walls were made of bright bricks, there were a bunch of rosters on the walls beside us and some posts with fires lit.

Before we can reach the actual building, Unversed appeared, surrounding us. Aqua and I summon our Keyblades and prepare to fight. Right when I was about to lead the charge, some tiny goat man came out of nowhere and stood in front of Aqua defensively.

Goat man: Stand back, sweetcheeks. I'll take care of this.

Aqua takes a step back, a little taken back and almost repulsed by the goat man's advances. He took one look at one of the larger Unversed before running away. I shake my head. Something weird about how he called Aqua "sweetcheeks" made my chest tighten. It didn't hurt me, it just... Felt wrong. Is that what jealousy feels like?

Mutasim: Dunno what the hell that was...

From behind us, a scrawny boy wearing nothing but some white cloth came up to us and got ready to fight. I rush forward and begin to cut down the Unversed while Aqua relied on magic, giving me cover fire. The other helper was able to knock down and defeat a few of the Unversed with his bare fists! For someone so small and thin, he was kind of tough. Too bad he stumbled every now and then, allowing one of the brutes to get a good hit in, knocking him down.

Before the brute Unversed could continue his assault, I intervened, punching the Unversed away.

Mutasim: Get up!

Another Unversed came barreling towards me and I sliced it in two. The three of us resumed our battle before finally wiping them all out, making us release a sigh of peace and relief.

Goat man: Oy. Those wackos almost my gyros out of me.

Scrawny: Well, maybe if you weren't trying to show off...

Goat man: Who asked you, kid? You'll understand more when you're older.

Scrawny: And stronger... Strong enough to be a hero.

Aqua: You think being strong is the same as being a hero?

Scrawny: Sure - mostly. Look at how strong Terra is, and he's champion!

Aqua: Terra?

Goat man: So sugarcakes... You got any plans for later? You know, I've trained a few heroes in my time. Maybe I could recite ya a little epic poetry.

I immediately caught onto what he was doing and I felt a surge of rage build up inside me. I did my best to contain it, but jealousy was actually a lot harder to control than I thought. I was a hair away from throttling the midget.
