Title: "Truths, Lies, and Laughter"
Summary:
Elizabeth Olsen and her wife, Y/N, are guests on a special interview with a famous footballer who just signed for Angel FC. They’re having a blast taking a lie detector test, but things get interesting (and hilarious) when Y/N starts sweating over questions about Wanda, Natasha Romanoff, and who the better cook is—Elizabeth or her mom?---
Scene begins:
The bright lights of the interview set shone down as Elizabeth Olsen, Y/N, and the newly signed footballer for Angel FC, Riley Davis, settled into their seats. The atmosphere was light, with Elizabeth giving Y/N a playful nudge.
“Ready for some fun?” Elizabeth whispered with a smile.
Y/N raised an eyebrow. “Define fun. Because I’m pretty sure this is going to turn into a public interrogation.”
The host, already grinning in anticipation, waved toward the polygraph machine. “Alright, folks! It’s time for everyone’s favorite segment: Lie Detector Test!”
Riley chuckled, leaning back comfortably. “Oh, this is going to be good.”
Elizabeth, cool and collected, leaned back in her chair, while Y/N shifted nervously, eyeing the machine as though it could turn on them any second. “Easy questions, right?” Y/N asked, half-joking.
The host laughed, flipping through cue cards. “We’ll see! First question goes to Y/N.”
The polygraph technician adjusted the equipment, and Y/N’s sense of regret deepened.
The host smirked at the card in hand. “Okay, Y/N. Who do you like better, Wanda Maximoff or Natasha Romanoff?”
Y/N froze. Elizabeth turned her head slowly, eyebrow raised and clearly enjoying this far too much. “Oh, this is going to be good,” she teased.
Y/N stammered. “I... I mean, Wanda is my—uh, I mean, Elizabeth is... uh..." A bead of sweat rolled down Y/N’s forehead as the polygraph beeped, catching every anxious movement.
Elizabeth leaned in closer, smirking. “Careful, honey. The truth will come out.”
The host chuckled. “So, Y/N? Is it Wanda or Natasha?”
Y/N sighed dramatically. “Fine. I like Wanda better... for obvious reasons.”
The machine beeped, confirming the truth. Elizabeth smiled, triumphant, and gave a playful wink. “Good answer.”
The host was clearly enjoying themselves. “Alright, next question for Y/N. Who’s the better cook: Elizabeth or her mom?”
Y/N’s eyes widened. “Oh, come on. That’s not fair.”
Elizabeth folded her arms, giving Y/N a challenging look. “Yeah, Y/N. Who’s better?”
Y/N swallowed hard. “I mean... Elizabeth makes amazing pasta, but your mom’s pies... um...”
The polygraph started beeping like crazy, detecting the stress. Elizabeth raised an eyebrow. “So you’re saying my mom’s better?”
Y/N threw up their hands. “Look, I can’t win here!”
Riley, laughing so hard he was wiping away tears, added, “This is officially the best interview ever.”
The host was ready with the next question. “Okay, Y/N, who’s funnier: you or Elizabeth?”
Y/N grinned, seeing an opportunity to turn things around. “Oh, I think I’ve got this one. I’m definitely funnier when it comes to dad jokes. Elizabeth’s got charm, but I can land those awkward jokes.”
The polygraph stayed silent, confirming the truth. Elizabeth laughed, nodding. “she’s not wrong. Her jokes are so bad, they’re good.”
The host couldn’t help but laugh. “Alright, Y/N, one last tough one: Who’s your favorite Olsen sister?”
Y/N gasped dramatically. “What?! No way. That’s a trap question!”
Elizabeth smirked. “Oh, come on, it’s an easy one.”
Y/N groaned, rubbing their temples. “You’re trying to start a family feud, huh?”
Elizabeth smiled sweetly, “Just be honest.”
Y/N sighed. “Fine. Elizabeth is my favorite.”
The machine confirmed it, and Elizabeth gave Y/N a soft kiss on the cheek. “See? Not so hard.”
Riley clapped, wiping away more tears of laughter. “This was amazing.”
But the host wasn’t done. “Alright, final, final question! If you had to choose between binge-watching Marvel movies or spending a day at a spa with Elizabeth, which would you pick?”
Y/N’s eyes widened again, looking nervously at the machine. “Uh…well, obviously I’d pick the spa day...”
The machine buzzed loudly—lying.
Everyone burst out laughing, including the polygraph technician, as Y/N grinned sheepishly. “Okay, maybe I’d squeeze in a Marvel movie or two.”
Elizabeth leaned in, laughing. “I knew it!”
As the host wrapped things up, they said with a big smile, “Well, it looks like Y/N survived—barely—and we got some solid truths out of today’s lie detector. Huge thanks to Elizabeth, Y/N, and Riley for being such great sports!”
As the cameras stopped rolling, Y/N turned to Elizabeth with a smirk. “You owe me for this.”
Elizabeth chuckled, pulling Y/N closer. “Don’t worry, I’ll cook you some pasta tonight. My ‘amazing’ pasta.”
Y/N grinned, leaning into her. “Deal. Just no more lie detectors.”
