Sage's Island - Foothill Town

I walked with Malleus on a nice summery day. The wind blowing, it's cool yet near approaching autumn air. Grim hitching a ride on my shoulder

"This way Master! M/n! There are a lot of humans here so watch your step!" Seven said loudly with a huge smile on his face.

People were whispering as they saw Malleus. Getting scared when they saw his imposing figure and suddenly disappearing.

"Oh... They all left." I said as I looked around. Chirithy nodded as I stopped to see some people hiding in a barrel. I didn't hear Sebek, Malleus and Grim, who had gotten off my shoulder, talking.

"M/n! What on Earth is going on with this demon beast's education?" Sebek yelled loudly. I sweat dropped but Malleus shook his head, "Stop, Sebek. It's nice and lively to spend time with the human child once in a while. Wouldn't you agree?"

Sebek's face flushed and sorta nodded his head, "Uh yes. It's nice to be with M/n."

Before I could talk Grim cut me off, "I thought you guys were going to lunch, I followed you but...book book book book! There is no food, but there are many people. What is everyone here for!?"

My eyes grabbed the glint of blue fire that wasn't from Grim. I looked at Sebek, Malleus and Grim then back to that sparks of flame.

I walked closer till I heard the mumbling of words I didn't even understand. Slowly I removed a stack of books and a scream followed.

"AHHHHHHHH!" I cover my ears as I fall to the ground and Chirithy luckily gets off my arms and lands near me. I rubbed my ears as Idia looked at me like some monster until he calmed down.

"Oh, it's you. Sorry," Idia said quietly. I smiled and shook my head. "No I should be sorry, I startled you after all."

He sighed, "Classic cinnamon roll behavior." I titled my head and looked at Chirithy who was just as confused. I get up dust off dirt from my uniform and pick up Chirithy.

I turned to look at Idia but he was gone. I look around to find him buried in books or what Ace has told me, manga. I read some manga thanks to Idia who happily talked about it for hours.

He gave me a series called Sailor Moon to start and it's fun. (A/N: I unfortunately never watched or read Sailor Moon).

"So what are you looking for?" I said as I removed some manga from him. "Just a manga. Why are you here with an introvert like me and not with the other extroverts."

I shrugged and he just went back to looking at manga. "Well M/n, how do you feel that Halloween is coming soon?"

It hit me like a tidal wave on knowing Halloween is soon and this time... Without Sora who made Halloween extra special and my favorite.

I shake my head but before I can speak a blinding light hits my face and I hear multiple people screaming.
