The alarm blared continuously in the background, yet the two boys remained sound asleep, nestled in each other's warmth. Their limbs tangled together as if drawn by some magnetic force. Jungkook, the older of the two, was the first to stir. His eyelids fluttered open, revealing his sleepy gaze as it focused on the younger boy clinging to him like a cozy, little koala. A soft smile tugged at the corner of his lips as he took in the sight of Taehyung, his face pressed against Jungkook's chest, looking utterly content in their shared embrace.

"Bear, it's time to wake up," Jungkook murmured, his voice raspy from sleep, as he gently brushed a few strands of hair away from Taehyung's forehead.

Taehyung responded with a sleepy pout, his eyes still squeezed shut. He let out a soft groan, shaking his head slightly, unwilling to part with the warmth of their cocoon. Jungkook chuckled, the sound reverberating through his chest, causing Taehyung to nuzzle closer.

"Let me sleep more, Kookie," Taehyung mumbled, his voice muffled by Jungkook's shirt as he tried to snuggle deeper into his embrace.

Jungkook's smile widened at the familiar petulance in Taehyung's tone. He leaned down, his lips grazing Taehyung's forehead in a tender kiss. "Baby, we can't. I have to go to work, and you've got school," he said softly, though there was a note of firm responsibility in his words.

Slowly, Taehyung's eyelids fluttered open, revealing the doe-like eyes Jungkook adored. His gaze locked with Jungkook's, and for a moment, they simply stared at each other, the world outside forgotten. Jungkook's hand came up to gently caress Taehyung's cheek, his thumb rubbing slow, comforting circles against the soft skin.

"I don't want to," Taehyung whispered, his voice carrying a hint of childish stubbornness as his brows furrowed slightly.

Jungkook's deep, soothing voice responded, "Don't be stubborn, Tae. Come on, get up." His tone was gentle yet commanding, making it impossible for Taehyung to resist.

At the sound of Jungkook's voice deepening, Taehyung gulped, feeling a strange flutter in his chest. With a small pout, he reluctantly started to sit up, his lips still curved downward in protest. Jungkook chuckled again at the sight, clearly amused by Taehyung's adorable sulking.

Just as Taehyung was about to step out of bed and head to the bathroom, Jungkook's hand shot out, wrapping around Taehyung's wrist. In one swift motion, he pulled Taehyung back, causing him to topple over and land on top of him with a surprised yelp. Their bodies collided, and Taehyung's cheeks flushed an instant crimson as he found himself lying awkwardly atop Jungkook, their faces mere inches apart.

"Wh-what are you doing?" Taehyung stuttered, his heart racing at the sudden proximity. His face was burning with embarrassment, his breath catching in his throat.

Jungkook's lips curved into a playful smirk as he watched Taehyung's flustered reaction. "Why are you nervous, bear? It's been half a year since we got married," Jungkook teased, his voice low and laced with affection.

With a smooth, effortless motion, Jungkook flipped them over, pinning Taehyung beneath him as he hovered above, their noses almost touching. Taehyung's breath hitched as Jungkook leaned closer, his dark eyes twinkling with amusement. Despite their time together, the intensity of Jungkook's gaze never failed to make Taehyung's heart race.

Taehyung's lips trembled slightly as he muttered, "But I can't tell anyone that I'm married to you..."

The words were soft, but Jungkook heard them clearly. His smirk faded into something more serious, and his hand moved to cup Taehyung's cheek tenderly. Taehyung closed his eyes at the closeness, trying to steady his erratic breathing. Jungkook's gaze softened as he took in Taehyung's vulnerable state, feeling a mix of affection and protectiveness surge through him.

"I'm sorry, bear," Jungkook whispered, pressing a soft kiss to Taehyung's lips before pulling back slightly, their foreheads resting against one another. "Because of my job, you can't reveal our relationship. I can't risk your life being in danger. You have to stay away from the mafia business. It's too dangerous."

Taehyung pouted again, but this time there was a deep sadness in his expression. "But they don't even know you're the mafia. You've never shown your face to anyone," he reasoned softly, his eyes searching Jungkook's face for reassurance.

Jungkook sighed, brushing a thumb across Taehyung's bottom lip before responding. "I know, baby. But I can't take any chances. What if they figure out that I'm the one they've been dying to find? What if they discover my only weakness?" His voice wavered, his fear evident in the way he spoke.

Before Jungkook could spiral further into his thoughts, Taehyung silenced him by wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck and pulling him into a kiss. It was slow and sweet, filled with all the love and reassurance that Taehyung couldn't put into words. When they pulled apart, Taehyung smiled up at Jungkook, his eyes filled with unwavering trust.

"I understand, Kookie. Don't worry," Taehyung whispered, his voice soft but sure.
