After school, the crisp afternoon air was filled with laughter as Taehyung, Jimin, Tzuyu, Rose, and Jisoo walked down the path together, chatting animatedly. The group's dynamic was electric—lighthearted and full of inside jokes.

Jimin, as usual, was in the middle of a dramatic retelling. "Yoongi was so fed up with me," he exclaimed, his hands gesturing wildly. "He said he wanted to throw himself out of the window just to escape my talking."

Taehyung chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "That's so like Yoongi hyung. He loves you, but he really doesn't have the patience for your endless stories."

Jisoo chimed in, her voice full of mock exasperation. "I'm guessing they had another one of their legendary arguments?"

Rose snickered, nodding in agreement. "Of course they did. They fight constantly, but everyone knows they can't live without each other."

Tzuyu sighed wistfully, as if lost in thought. "How I wish I had—" But before she could finish her sentence, a familiar voice interrupted the peaceful atmosphere.

"Taе Taе!" Andrew's voice echoed through the courtyard. He was approaching them with a wide grin, holding a single flower in his hand, oblivious to the collective eye rolls from the group.

Taehyung's demeanor shifted instantly. His smile faded, replaced by a look of mild annoyance as he stopped in his tracks. "Andrew," he said, his voice firm but tired. "I thought I already made everything clear to you."

Andrew, undeterred by the lack of warmth in Taehyung's tone, stepped closer. "Of course, I know, Tae! You just want to make me jealous, right? That's why you're spreading rumors about being married." His tone was light, as if he genuinely believed that Taehyung's marriage was nothing more than a ploy.

Jimin, standing beside Taehyung, couldn't hold back his disdain. "A perfect explanation that only a complete idiot could come up with in this situation."

Andrew shot Jimin a confused look. "And what's your problem, Jimin? Why are you so annoyed with me all the time?"

Jisoo crossed her arms, her expression one of disbelief. "Are you seriously asking him that?" She leaned forward slightly, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Of course, it's because you're annoying."

Tzuyu nodded in agreement, her eyes narrowing at Andrew. "Exactly. Tae's told you no a million times. Anyway, speaking of which—Taehyung, where's that sexy husband of yours?"

Rose, always one to stir the pot, smirked mischievously. "Yeah, Tae. Your husband should be here by now."

Andrew scoffed at the exchange, clearly still convinced this was all some elaborate prank. "You're all still stuck on that? You really think I'm buying this whole 'husband' story?"

Jimin, having had enough of Andrew's delusion, pulled out his phone and dramatically tapped at the screen before shouting, "YAH, JEON! ARE YOU COMING OUT OF THE CROWD OR DO YOU WANT DIVORCE PAPERS WITH TAEHYUNG'S SIGNATURE?!"

Taehyung's eyes widened in panic, quickly signaling Jimin to lower his voice. "Jimin, shut up!" he hissed under his breath, glancing nervously at the growing crowd of students who had started to murmur among themselves.

Before Jimin could respond, a familiar deep voice cut through the noise. "You don't have to yell."

Jungkook emerged from the crowd with his usual confidence, moving toward Taehyung with a calm, almost intimidating presence. Without missing a beat, he slid his arm possessively around Taehyung's waist, pulling him close as his sharp gaze locked onto Andrew. His expression was ice-cold, a silent warning that needed no words.

Andrew stood there, still holding the now-forgotten flower, his cocky grin faltering. He glanced around, noticing the growing whispers from the other students, many of whom were gawking at the sight of Jungkook so openly protective of Taehyung.

Jimin crossed his arms smugly. "Were you just planning to stand in the crowd all day?" he teased Jungkook.

Jungkook didn't bother to reply, his focus still on Andrew. Rose took the opportunity to pipe up, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Well, Andrew," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Are you still convinced this is just a prank?"

Andrew hesitated, looking between Taehyung and Jungkook, as if trying to piece together the situation. Then, much to everyone's astonishment, he chuckled. "You guys really went all out, huh? Hiring an actor to pretend to be Tae's husband? Nice touch."

Tzuyu threw her hands up in frustration. "Is he even serious right now?"

Jisoo groaned, clearly fed up. "Yah, Ken!" she called out to one of Andrew's friends who had been hanging back, watching the whole scene unfold. "Take your idiot friend away before I lose my patience."

Ken, who had been awkwardly standing on the sidelines, rushed forward, bowing apologetically. "I'm sorry about this," he muttered, grabbing Andrew by the arm and pulling him away. "Yah, you idiot! That's Jeon Jungkook. Do you not recognize him?"

Andrew's eyes widened as the realization hit him, but by then, Ken had already dragged him halfway across the courtyard.

As the commotion began to die down, Taehyung finally turned to Jungkook, his voice soft and a little shy. "When did you get here?"

Jungkook didn't answer, instead opting to scoop Taehyung up into his arms in one swift motion, carrying him bridal style. Taehyung's cheeks flushed a deep shade of red as gasps and squeals erupted from the crowd that had been watching the entire exchange.

"Everyone's staring," Taehyung whispered, glancing around nervously.

Jungkook, completely unfazed, looked down at him with a soft smile. "Do you think I care?" he asked, his voice low but affectionate. Without another word, he began walking toward his car, still holding Taehyung securely in his arms.

Jimin, watching the entire scene unfold, clicked his tongue in mock disapproval. "Tsk, such a showoff," he muttered, though there was a grin tugging at the corners of his lips.

Jungkook didn't break his stride. "Stop complaining," he called over his shoulder. "Yoongi's waiting in the car."

That was all Jimin needed to hear. Without hesitation, he bolted toward the parking lot, his earlier grumblings forgotten. "Why didn't you tell me that from the start?!" he yelled, disappearing into the distance.

Taehyung, now resting his head against Jungkook's shoulder, felt a mixture of embarrassment and warmth. "Kook, you didn't have to carry me. Everyone's really looking."

Jungkook's grip tightened ever so slightly as he pressed a gentle kiss to the top of Taehyung's head. "Let them look," he murmured, his voice soft but resolute. "You're mine. That's all that matters."

With that, Jungkook carried Taehyung the rest of the way to the car, completely unbothered by the curious stares of the crowd.
