Jungkook was a total mess during exams week.
His hair was sticking out in random directions, his hoodie looked like it had seen better days, and he was glued to his notes 24/7, even when eating at the cafeteria.
His friends were laughing obnoxiously over some dumb meme about their economics professor that had gone viral, but Jungkook was too deep in his books to care.
He'd get an occasional encouraging text from his boyfriend, though. it helped keep him sane.
Something short but sweet like,
"You've got this, baby."
"you're gonna do great. just trust yourself like I do."
"I've got your favorite take out, meet me at the parking lot."
And that was all he needed to get through his days.
After hours of grueling exams, his personal driver would pick him up and take him straight to Taehyung's office.
They'd hang out, kiss, make out, maybe watch a movie-basically anything that helped Jungkook unwind before Taehyung personally dropped him off at his apartment.
Taehyung had offered him the key to some ridiculously expensive new house close to his college, but Jungkook refused.
Not because he didn't want it, but because he didn't have time to even think about it with all these exams.
And that drove Taehyung crazy.
Taehyung, being the hopelessly romantic yet insanely dominant guy he was, hated rejection.
He was sitting at his desk, impatiently clicking his pen, checking the time every two seconds.
When Jungkook finally strolled in with that tired yet adorable smile on his face, Taehyung's dark eyes zoned in on him, immediately narrowing.
"How was your last exam?" Taehyung asked, trying to keep his voice neutral but failing miserably.
Jungkook beamed, plopping down in the chair across from him after throwing his backpack on the floor. "It was great! I mean, I could've done better, but, you know-"
Taehyung cut him off, standing up as he stuffed his hands in his pockets. "You care about these exams more than you care about me."
Jungkook blinked, taken aback for a second before he burst out laughing. walking right in front of his boyfriend when he stopped and met his intense gaze.
"Are you serious right now? You're being ridiculous," he said, playfully swatting Taehyung's chest before playing with his necktie casually. "This is my future we're talking about."
"No," Taehyung growled, his eyes darkening even more. "I am your future."
Jungkook's face immediately flushed at the seriousness in Taehyung's tone.
His heart skipped a beat as he nervously reached out, brushing his fingers along Taehyung's sharp jawline. "You're being so dramatic," he mumbled, trying to ease the tension.
But Taehyung wasn't having it.
He grabbed Jungkook's wrist and held it firmly, his grip strong but not painful.
His voice dropped even lower, more dangerous. "I want you all to myself, Jungkook. I hate sharing your attention with anything else."
Jungkook's stomach flipped, and he bit his lip, trying (and failing) to hide how attractive he found Taehyung's possessiveness.
