What I Like To Do On Halloween (Writer In 6th Grade)

What do you like to do on Halloween? I like to do a lot of things, but I will tell you what I like to do. On Halloween, I like to hear spooky ghost stories. My favorite one is one called "Mr. Boo." It is about a ghost named Mr. Boo and he discovers humans moving into his house. Oh, and don't forget the Halloween décor. I like this giant black cat that my parents put in front of the house, and it is bigger than our house!!! I love to scare other people to see their funny reactions. I love to carve pumpkins. I always love to feel the slimy pumpkin seeds. I love to make slime as well because it is like a spa on my hands.
The spooky stuff is fun, but this is the food that I make and eat. I love to make Halloween cookies, but sadly I don't get a lick of the batter, because it has raw eggs in it. That is right, I don't even get a morsel.
(I heard that salmonella is rare, fun fact: it is in 1 out of 20,000 eggs!) The internet, the most reliable source, told me. I love to leave people candy without them noticing, my neighborhood calls that "booing." I got booed twice this year. I like to go trick-or-treating on Halloween night. I like 3 Musketeers and Hershey's, but nothing else. My sister likes this disgusting candy called "smarties." They are basically sugar rolls, and all of them taste the same, she told me. After Trick-Or-Treat, we do something which we take a bin, and we sort out our candies, and determine which ones we do and don't want to keep. My candies that I don't want to keep, the bin will go to Anna and she will do it again.
The food tastes good, but these are the fun things I like to do during the Halloween season. I like to play Halloween special with my beautiful dolls, they make me happy, but my parents, oh, not so much, in fact, they hate them. I like to dress up in costumes and see other people's pretty costumes. I like to play Halloween games like charades, hide and seek, and museum. I like to do scavenger hunts. My nanny said that Halloween is her all-time favorite holiday.
