_Third Person Pov..._
The seasons shifted gently around them, moving from the warm embrace of autumn to the crisp chill of winter. Snowflakes had begun to sprinkle the campus, blanketing the world in a soft, white cover. Despite the cold, y/n and Taesan’s friendship continued to bloom, deepening with each shared lunch, quiet conversation, and stolen glance.
But friendship wasn’t all that was growing between them. There was something more—a tension neither could ignore, a longing neither dared to name. Taesan found himself thinking about y/n more than ever, replaying the way her eyes crinkled when she laughed or the softness of her voice when she spoke to him. As for y/n, her gaze lingered on Taesan longer each day, and her heart fluttered whenever she caught him smiling at one of her silly jokes.
One evening, as the first stars twinkled in the sky, y/n found herself standing outside Taesan’s classroom. She had texted him earlier, asking if he could stay back for a while. She needed to say something—something she had been struggling to put into words.
When Taesan finally stepped out, carrying a thick novel under his arm, he looked surprised to see her waiting for him.
“y/n? What are you doing here?” he asked softly, his breath forming small puffs of vapor in the cool air.
She smiled, though it was a nervous one. “I… I wanted to talk to you. Can we go for a walk?”
Taesan nodded, curious and a little apprehensive. They started walking in silence, the snow crunching softly under their shoes. The school grounds were quiet, illuminated only by the soft glow of streetlights and the pale moonlight. Y/n led them to a small garden area, where they stopped near a bench dusted with snow.
“I’ve been wanting to tell you something for a while,” y/n began, shifting from one foot to the other. “I just… I didn’t know how to say it.”
Taesan looked at her, concern and confusion clouding his eyes. “Is something wrong?”
“No, it’s nothing like that,” she quickly reassured him, shaking her head. “It’s just… You know, when I first talked to you, I didn’t expect anything. I just thought you seemed interesting—different from everyone else I knew. But then, as we started spending more time together…” She trailed off, her gaze dropping to the ground.
Taesan’s heart was pounding in his chest, each beat echoing louder than the last. He could feel something big coming, something that could change everything.
“y/n, what are you trying to say?” he asked gently.
She took a deep breath, then looked up, her eyes meeting his with an intensity that made his breath hitch.
“Taesan, I think… No, I know… that I’ve fallen for you.”
Taesan’s world seemed to freeze. He stared at her, his mind struggling to process her words. He had imagined this moment countless times in the quiet of his room, but hearing it now, seeing the raw vulnerability on y/n’s face—it was overwhelming.
“You… like me?” he whispered, his voice filled with disbelief.
Y/n nodded, a faint blush creeping up her cheeks. “Yes, I do. I like how kind you are, how you always listen, how you notice the little things that everyone else misses. I like the way you smile, even when you try to hide it. I like you, Taesan. All of you.”
She paused, taking a step closer. “But I understand if you don’t feel the same way. I just… I had to tell you.”
Taesan felt a whirlwind of emotions rushing through him—joy, fear, excitement, and an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Y/n, the girl he had admired from afar, the one who had brought light into his quiet, solitary world, liked him. Him.
“y/n, I…” He swallowed, his voice trembling. “I like you too. So much. I just never thought… someone like you would…”
Y/n smiled softly, reaching out to gently take his hand. “You don’t have to say anything more, Taesan. I understand.”
But Taesan shook his head, his grip tightening around her hand. “No, you don’t. You made me feel seen—like I mattered. You stepped into my world, even when I was too scared to step into yours. You made me feel… brave.”
He took a deep breath, summoning every ounce of courage within him. “I love you, y/n.”
For a moment, neither of them moved. The world seemed to hold its breath, waiting. Then, slowly, y/n’s eyes filled with tears—not of sadness, but of pure happiness.
“Taesan,” she whispered, her voice breaking. “I love you too.”
And before either of them could say anything more, she leaned in, closing the small gap between them. Taesan’s heart soared as her lips gently brushed against his, soft and warm. The kiss was tentative at first, a question, a whisper of something beautiful. But as Taesan wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer, it deepened, growing more confident.
In that moment, under the falling snow and the soft glow of the stars, everything felt perfect. Two opposites, drawn together like magnets, fitting together in a way that defied reason yet felt utterly right.
When they finally pulled apart, their breaths mingling in the cold air, y/n rested her forehead against his, her eyes shining with happiness.
“Thank you, Taesan,” she murmured. “For being you.”
Taesan smiled, his heart full. “And thank you, y/n. For seeing me.”
They stood there, wrapped in each other’s warmth, knowing that whatever came next, they would face it together.
