As if I am going to give him love advice, the first kid that listens to his parents about that is yet to be born.

Harry muttered: "Let the force guide me? Is Obi-Wan steering me with that bloody Force? If he is, then I am going to kick his ass when I get my hands on him. Don't meddle with this Obi-Wan, I warn you."

Damned! I quoted the wrong phrase. Do or do not? Or Do them both? I am your father!... No, it is You want to be a father?

Meh, I'll figure something out tonight. I never was one with a witty comeback. Usually, they are long gone before I came up with a snappy response. I had some standard comebacks ready though, with a Your momma! You can almost never go wrong with that. Occasionally they beat you up for it though.

Anyway, Harry ate breakfast after a visit to Sirius's room, you know, to release some pressure, it was in the book Courting your witch by Derrick and Sandra… now I know who they are, the painting on the seventh floor Luna told Harry about. Still… good advice I guess, it prevents Little Harry to be trigger-happy and explode at first skin contact.

Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want. Been there, done that, and it was fucking embarrassing I can tell you that. A big turn-off with the girls too.

Harry checked his books one last time, and with Winky's help got ready for his last day of free will… his Date I mean.

A nervous boy, loaded with two small bouquets of roses, two red and blue gift-wrapped boxes popped in front of Bones Manor 10 minutes before the appointed time. Girls have to be fashionable late, boys have to do the opposite, between fifteen and five minutes before time is the norm. Earlier can catch them unprepared and they will resent you for rushing them.

That is my experience talking though, I had my share of disaster dates in my time. Yeah, you are right, I was a clueless knob and still am in many ways. Where was I? Ah, the scared boy in front of the gate.

Harry let his presence known, and Benny popped him in front of the door. Peggy Abbot let him in, she opened the teasing with: "Good morning Lord Potter, what is the purpose of your visit?"

Harry remembered the books and answered: "Good morning Heiress Abbot, I came calling on Heiress Primary Bones and your sister Heiress Hannah Abbot. Do I have your permission to do so?"
