The silhouette of the man then came to his parents' heads on the ground and first took the head of his father.
He pulled it up by its hair. The man's other hand went to his father's face and squeezed it. He squeezed it so hard that Cassius's father's head cracked, and its brain splattered all around. Then, from the cracked head, a foggy white thing flew out. The black man caught it with his hand that he had used to crack Cassius's father's head, and it dissolved in it. When the foggy thing dissolved, it let out an almost inaudible scream, which was the scream of his father. The weak scream ringed in his ears. The man then let go of the cracked head, letting it fall to the ground, and moved towards Cassius's mother's head.
Cassius saw the black man look at him before turning his attention to his mother's head. He again took his mother's head by the hair and cracked it with his other hand. When head cracked, there was the foggy white levitating thing. It let out again that almost inaudible scream. The black man caught it again, and once again, it dissolved in his hand. The foggy mask on the black man's face began to shine with a black, almost silver light. The air felt colder and more dangerous than before. The silhouette of the man then came forward. While walking, he wiped off his bloody sword and hands into the sleeve of his robe. He kneeled to Cassius's height and looked down at the crying, injured boy. The man looked into Cassius's wide eyes, filled with fear, and said, "Kid, why those tears? You said yourself that you wanted them to disappear... You made a deal with me... don't forget" The man smiled behind his mask. "Are you regretting your decision, kid?" His voice sounded cold and amused.
Cassius just looked up at the man's mask made of black fog. He felt like he was going to throw up again; his hands were shaking on the ground, covered in blood and pieces of brain. Cassius couldn't say anything, he just stared at the man's mask.
The black man asked, amused, "Why are you silent, kid?" Cassius just stared at him. He couldn't move, talk, or even run. He wanted to get up, but he couldn't. His body screamed in pain and fear. The man chuckled and said, "You don't have to thank me. I helped you, and one day, I'll come for my payment." Cassius finally let out a whimper and then said, "W-w-what's y-your... n-name? Y-you're t-that man... from the forest... the one I-l talked t-to b-before... r-right?"
The black man felt his lips curl into a smirk and answered, "Yes I am that man and you're persistent, kid, aren't you? Okay, I'll tell you. You can call me Erebus." After a moment of silence, he added,
"'ll go now, kid... I'll see ya. I'll come for what's mine." The black man dissolved into black fog and disappeared. Cassius was left alone at the floor full of blood, his body screaming in pain and fatigue. He blacked out.
