Revved Deceit :Love in the fast lane

chapter 2

I wake up to my phone ringing. I answer it. “Hello?” “Kate it’s about Han.” I get up in a jolt. “Dom what happened?” I can’t lose Han. “He was killed Kate.” Oh my- “By whom?” Dom takes a deep breath. “Owen shaws brother.” Owen Shaw? That was the guy that took Letty from us. Made her turn against us. He fell from a plane and was put in a hospital going to be sent to a black site prison. “Name?” I ask. I can deal with this guy on my own. I think to myself.  “His names Deckard Shaw.” I stop.
Deckard… No, it’s just a coincidence, right? It has to be. But I never got his last name yesterday ugh! “I know what you’re thinking.” Dom says. “You’re not going to sort this out on your own. We do it together.” I really think I should tell him. But maybe not yet since I’m not sure it’s the same Deckard. “You there?” Shit “Uh yea.” Dom doesn’t answer. “I got to go.” I say and end the call.
Shit! I’m screwed. Especially if it’s the same Deckard. I tried calling him but he didn’t answer. The good thing is he doesn’t know I’m related to Letty. Or that I know Dom. I’m sure he will eventually find out when his learning about the team. That’s when he will come after me. I can’t let him hurt the team.
A few hours later were gathered by some guy who calls himself Mister Nobody. I see him standing with Dom.
“Hey.” I greet the team. “Where’s Hobbs?” I ask. “It seems that Shaw put him in the hospital.” Mr Nobody says. “What?!” Roman yells. “You serious?” I say. Dom nods. Oh my god. If it’s the same Deckard- “Your Letty’s sister right?’ Mr Nobody says to me. “Yea.” I answer. He nods smiling. “This is going to be interesting. Because it seems we found you with the same Deckard.” My body goes into a panic.
Everyone turn to see a pictures of me and Shaw. Theres one of us racing. Us at the restaurant together. Him giving me his jacket. I feel really hurt looking at the pictures. Everyone looks at me. Dom is pissed.
“Dom wait I didn’t know it was the same Deckard.” I say. “And you didn’t even at least think it was when you heard his name? Didn’t you get his last name?” Tej asks. “I didn’t.’’ I say looking at the pictures.
“Wait are y’all not seeing this?” Roman speaks. “We use Kate to get to Shaw.” Brian comes forward. “How would we do that?”  “Tej could some Hacky Hacking and make her a new surname so Shaw doesn’t find out shes Letty’s sister and e could use her. You call him be all ‘Hey baby lets go out  again.’ ’’ He immates a girl voice. I put my hand up. “Uhm we do not speak like that and it all happened yesterday during the day.” I say. “Do you have his number?” Brian asks. I nod. “We could do it.”
After this Mr nobody explains about the hacker Ramsey that made Gods Eye. “Guys. I can’t help you on this. If Deckard sees me, we are screwed. I have to be far from you all.” I speak. “She’s right. It’s the only way it will work.”
We continue discussing and Roman as always has something to say. So Dom asks him to take the lead. Surprisingly he makes a smart plan.
“And your team is now complete.”  Mr Nobody says walking. Then Letty walks in. Dom and Letty share eye contact and walk up to each other.
“I went to the house. I was looking for you everywhere. You scared the shit out of me.” I walk away to the rest of the team to let them talk.
After their done she comes up to me and hugs me. “Letty!” I speak. I fill her in on Deckard and our plan. “Are you gonna be fine doin this?” I nod. “He killed Han. I have too. His going to keep hurting everyone I love. So I don’t care what I have to sacrifice to save my family.” She nods and greats the rest of the team.
After Dom explains what he wants with armour and they make the plan. “Ill stay with you guys on radio so I can hear everything that going on.” I say. Letty hugs me and goes with them.
I stare at the pictures of me and Deckard. Us laughing at the restaurant. The racing.
A while later I hear Roman and Tej on the walkie talkies. “Yoh Roman, you freaking out ain’t ya?” Tej asks. “No” Yep he is. I say to myself. “Yea you are.” “I said no.” “Listen it takes a grown man, to embrace his feelings. If you ned to cry go ahead and cry.” I start laughing. Gosh their banter never ends.
Mr nobody speaks with Dom and then the plan starts.
The plan was that the cars jump out of the plane and lad on the road behind Mose Jakande and his men.
“Be careful Letty.” I say to her through comms. “Don’t worry about me.’’ She replies. “You know I always do.” Then her car goes out.
And of course Roman is freaking out. “Tej do what we planned.” Tej and I planned something because we knew he would do this. “Listen yall im sorry to let you all down.” Roman says. “Nah man I’m sorry to let you down.” Tej says and he presses the button.
Roman screams which means his car is probably flying out.
When there supposed to land Roman’s car still flies into the tress. I laugh so hard.
The plan continues as I sit and watch how its going.
“Mr Nobody.” I say. “Yea?” He answers. “I’m gonna try call Deckard and see where he is.” He nods. I hear the phone ring and ring. “Hello?” He answers. “Hey Deckard! Where are you?” “Hey, I’m just driving. But I’m busy I need to call you back bye.” He says and ends the call. Strange.
When I get back inside Brans in the Bus where Ramsey is. Then theres another vehicle that approaches. “Well well well welcome to the party Mister Shaw.” Mr Nobody says. I see Deckard on camera showing up and knocking Dom’s car. Ramseys on the hood holding Dom’s hand.
I’m taken aback when I see Deckard on the screen. Dom and him race down the ledge and knock into each other. Ramsey gets into the car and Deckard’s car gets knocked by Roman flying in. “Im back bitches!” Roman says. I chuckle.
Dom knocks Deckard’s car down the hill. I know Dom didn’t do it so bad, so he will be okay.
My phone rings. Mia’s calling. I answer. “Hey how are things going?” I sigh. “Okay ish. We got the girl.” I carry on filling her in on what we are doing.
Then Dom gets surrounded by Mose Jakande and his men. Dom spins the car and drives off the cliff. His car flies, hits the ground and turns “Dom!” I scream. “Letty is he okay?” I ask through comms. “His good.  Meet us at the location I sent you.” She says. I get in my car and drive.
“Hey guys!” I say when I get there. I greet everyone. “Hello kitty’s awake.” Letty says.
“Wheres my shoe?” Ramsey asks. “It flew off when you crashed.” Brian answers. I snort. Letty gives me a look. “Okay okay sorry.”
“Why don’t you tell us where that device is?” Dom asks. “I mailed it to a friend in Abu Dabi.” She says. Really she gave it up that easy? “I trust you that’s why I told you.” Letty laughs. “Now, why would you trust us? You barely know us.” Letty says. “I know enough.” Ramsey smiles. She looks at Brian and speaks. “EX cop. Military something like that. The way you took out those guys shows training.”  She moves on to Tej. “Teck guy, offended by the hacker remark naturally.” Tej nods. She moves on to Dom. “Alpha.” Is she says then goes to Letty. “Mrs Alpha.” She says. Then me. “Sister of Mrs Alpha. From the way you cared for her.” I nod. “She’s good.” Then goes to Roman. “Joker.” “Wrong.” Roman answers and stands up. Oh god. “Double Alpha.” We laugh. Him and Tej banter a little more then Dom speaks. “We’re going to the Middle East.”
