chapter 4!

(I've just realised I've written this so wrong so I'm going to do a mega time skip to the next volleyball cup which we also won. just btw. )

Y/N's POV- a couple of years later

we had just won the volleyball cup for the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW!!!!!! we were all so excited about winning for the second time. we did a lap of the crowd and started signing shirts and taking photos with people. the next thing we knew it was time to head into the changing rooms or go for interviews. I was one of the unfortunate few that had to go for an interview, as captain its kind of my duty so. 

i was in my interview and it was going well for the first half then the interviewer asked the infamous question that none of us want to answer "so, where's the next game going to be and when?" "aaahhh, that's the question aha, um unfortunately for you we're doing an invite's only game for this one, I'm really sorry for this buuutttt its not my decision I'm afraid, but I'm really looking forward too it "

I was mainly looking forward to it as it was in LA were Malia was so I was planning on inviting her to it s a little surprise as we could just be ourselves because there was not supposed to be any cameras and its invite only so it would be chill. I was really scared though because I was planning on inviting all her cast mates and friends from descendants if they wanted to come or if she wanted them to come. 

the interview was over and I walked back into the changing room and change into my jogger, grab my bags and head for the coach. as soon as were all seated and coach and I have done our little 'inspirational' talks, I grab my headphones out of my bad along with my phone and stick on 'birthday cake' by Dylan Conrique and sit and check my messages. I had several un-opened messages for various different people. one in-particular stuck out from 'my sweetheart'.

'hey baby! I'm soo happy for you!! why didn't you tell me about this invite only game tho?'

 I decided to tell her a tiny lie as I didn't want to spoil the surprise.

'hey babe! thank you sm! I didn't think you'd be interested, as its in Germany so I didn't think you'd want to travel all that way just for the day for a game. if you want to come i could reserve you a ticket?'

I knew this was a risky move as she could be willing to come but I don't think she'll travel from America to Germany for the night. she wrote back to me after a bit apologising for not wanting to make the trip and wishing me luck. my plan had worked. time to surprise my girlfriend!

(couple days) time skip

my flight had landed a couple hours ago and I was now trying to navigate my way round LA trying to find Malia's house without her seeing me or asking her for help which is quite scary and hard but ill make it eventually. my flight landed at 3 around lunch and it was now 5 and I had made my way to Malia's house (or what I believe to be her house), praying she was in as I had been walking around all day and I just want to snuggle up in bed with my lovely girlfriend.

I walk up her stone stairs up to her hard wood door and press the door bell. my nerves wracking up as I heard a some shouts from inside. shit. she's not alone. who is it? god why did I come here? I was interrupted by the front door swinging open. 

It was her.

"Hey, um how much was it again I can't remember?"

I didn't say anything and a split second later she looked up from her purse and her eyes shot wider.

"Y/n??! What are you doing here, omg!?"

She exclaimed out of pure joy giving me the tightest hug as I dropped my bags to pick her up in an impossibly tighter embrace.

"I came to surprise you, yk that secret game we're having??" I say, The excitement clear in my voice. She nods her head slightly confused.

"It's here, in LA so I thought I'd surprise you and ask if you'd maybe like to come??" I say grabbing the ticket out of my back pocket.

"OMGGG!! Yes! I would love to come! Babe!! Oh but all my friends are here"

"Oh, well do you maybe want me to wait out here then? Or I can go to a hotel or sneak through your bedroom window again ;)"

"Haha, that was fun but no it-its ok, you can come in, I'll Introduce you, Kylie has a MASSIVE crush on you btw and I think ruby does too"

"Haha not surprised, I mean I am super hot ;)"

Malias POV

I can't believe she's here!! Eek I haven't seen her in months I'm so happy, and I get to watch one of her games! I'm so excited for that.

I'm really nervous about introducing her to the cast tho, what do I tell Kylie and ruby, I was just saying that I might have had a slight crush on her not that i have been dating her for a year and a half.

Here goes nothing i guess.
