FIVE'S POV:

I floored the gas pedal, the road in front of me almost a blur. Diego, Klaus, and Luther sat beside me, but the silence in the car was suffocating. Something was boiling inside me-concern, mixed with a rage I had never felt before. What had Rose done to me? I had never cared about anyone like this.

Luther leaned forward, his voice urgent: "Can't you drive faster?"

"Ask me that again, and you'll have the cigarette lighter in your eye," I replied coldly.

He leaned back without another word, and when we finally arrived at the cabin, we all rushed out of the car. Luther was the first to kick open the door. What we saw made us freeze: Allison lay motionless, bleeding, in the middle of the room.

"Allison! No!" Luther's voice cracked as he dropped to his knees beside her.

But I didn't see her-my eyes were searching for Rose. She lay on the floor, a knife in her stomach and blood all over the floor and the pain remained, in every fiber of my body. Without hesitation, I knelt beside her, lifting her fragile body into my arms.

"Rose... this can't be real." My voice trembled as my hand brushed her cheek, hoping she could feel my touch. Tears streamed down my face before I even realized.

Klaus stepped closer, shock etched on his face. "No..." he whispered, hesitantly reaching out towards her.

"Don't touch her!" I screamed, my anger making my voice unnaturally loud. Klaus remained calm, unfazed by my outburst. Instead, he sat down beside me, gently placing a hand on my shoulder.

I held Rose tighter, pressing her head to my chest, desperately hoping she would somehow wake up. We couldn't lose her.

When we finally brought her back to the Academy, I sat in the back seat, never letting go of her. Her head rested in my lap, one hand keeping pressure on her wound, while the other gently stroked her hair. The drive was agonizing-a blend of anger, fear, and helplessness, all twisting into a painful knot in my chest.

Once we arrived at the Academy, I carried Rose into my arms and held her like a bride. Luther hurried after me with Allison. "She's not breathing!" he shouted, frantically checking her pulse.

"Get them inside, or they'll die!" I yelled, and Klaus quickly opened the infirmary door. Grace and Pogo were already there, ready to help.

Grace leaned over Allison. "The cut is deep. One of you will need to donate blood."

"I'll do it," we all said at once, but Klaus and Diego were quickly ruled out. Luther wanted to step up, but Pogo stopped him. "That's not possible, my boy. Your blood doesn't match."

"I'll do it," I said without hesitation. Pogo nodded, and as they took my blood, all I could think about was Rose.

When everything was done, Grace said they needed rest. Reluctantly, we left the room. Diego, Klaus, and I sat in the living room, the tension in the air palpable.
