The next two days were the slowest in Jungkook's life. For the entire time, all Jungkook could do was just sit in his bed and suffer as he wasn't allowed to leave. He was barely given any food and couldn't even go outside with any of the guards to get some sunlight. Not that there was any sun. It has been raining for the past two days.

How ironic.

Irene wasn't even allowed to see him until the wedding day. So when Jungkook caught her lavender scent from outside the door, he immediately got out of bed. He heard some yelling from the guards outside, but that didn't stop Irene from barging in and closing the door behind her so the alphas couldn't bother her or Jungkook.

The younger omega jumps into her arms as soon as she enters the room. He starts crying in the comfort of her arms. Irene could tell that he was just absolutely drained. And he was. He was tired, hungry, angry, sad, and frustrated. He didn't want to marry Suyoung. He didn't want to be in this pack any longer than he had to.

"I can't do this, Noona. I can't marry him."

She tried to soothe Jungkook, but nothing was working. "Jungkook, I know this is nothing you've ever dreamed of, but there is nothing you can do." She wipes the boys' tears and helps him up. Listen to me when I tell you this Jungkook. Someday, you are going to leave this place and find yourself a charming prince who will treat you like the amazing person you are, okay? You will find someone who is not Suyoung. The world would be too cruel to leave an amazing and kind omega like you in Hell like this. This is not forever. It's just for now."

Jungkook sniffles and nods his head. He has to trust his noona that this will all happen. He might be Suyoung's mate, but he will never love him.

Irene guides the boy to the dresser and lets the boy pick out his outfit. He picks out a beautiful, elegant, white outfit and she smiles at the boys' choice. The rest of the time they have together, Irene spends her time getting Jungkook ready for the wedding.

Jungkook stares off into space blankly. He can't help but wonder if there is someone out there who is waiting for him. If his fated mate is sitting somewhere patiently, hoping that he wakes up the next day and will see his mate standing in front of him. Because Suyoung is not his mate. Suyoung rejected his mate when he was around 16 years old. The poor girl ended up dying because of a broken heart.

Jungkook was there the day she died. He wanted to apologize for everything Suyoung did. The girl wasn't mad at Jungkook. It wasn't his fault that all of this was happening to her. But Jungkook has felt guilt in his heart ever since that happened.

Irene gets done getting the boy ready and gives him a small peck on the forehead. "You look beautiful Jungkook. And even though Suyoung never treats you like the beautiful boy you are, you can never doubt that. Alright?"

Jungkook looks through the mirror at Irene and smiles at her. "Yes, Noona."

Jungkook was startled when he heard a harsh knock coming from the door. "Lee Jungkook is requested down at the main hall to be escorted to the wedding."

Jungkook cringes at the name Lee. He didn't want that to be his name for the rest of his life. He didn't want any association with the Lee family name. He was about to yell at the guard for even thinking of calling him that, but Irene covered the boy's mouth and gave him a pleading look to not speak. "We will be down in a minute!"

The footsteps move away from the door, and Irene sighs in relief. She grabs Jungkook's outfit that he picked out and hands it over. "Hurry up. We don't want Suyoung getting mad."

Jungkook takes a deep sigh before going to the bathroom and changing into his outfit. After about seven minutes, he walks out with a frown on his face. Irene hugs him, wanting to have one last feeling of comfort before he has to be escorted down the aisle by two of Suyoung's guards. "Now let's go." She takes the boy's hand and they walk out of the room together.
