{3} Safety

Jimin runs up to his mate and hugs him tight. Yoongi groans in pain at the squeeze. "Jimin, please. Not too tight."

He lets go and cups his mate's bruised face. "I'm sorry. When I felt your pain through the mark, I just got worried." He looks around for V, but can't find him anywhere. Namjoon is also gone from the pack. "Where are V and Namjoon?"

Yoongi stuck out his arm as one of the betas treated his wound, keeping the other arm wrapped around his worried mate. "V ran off towards the woods, but I don't know why. Namjoon just ran after him to make sure he didn't get hurt. You know how reckless he can be sometimes."

Jimin just nods his head. He notices the little bruise on Yoongi's cheek and gives it a small peck. "I hope you feel better."

"He's an alpha, he heals fast. Stop worrying about it, Jimin." Jimin glares at the brunette standing above him.

"Shut up Hoseok. No one asked you." Jimin wraps his arms around Yoongi and the ravenette just smiles at his beta mate. Feeling the pain your mate felt is one of the scariest things you could feel. Yoongi was helping some of the betas out of the pack house when he felt his chest tightening. He ran straight to him after that.

Hoseok stands off to the side of them, feeling awkward. He glances at the omega girl next to him. The girl that Hoseok found out to be his fated mate. He was happy when he smelled that beautiful lavender smell.

Hoseok found Irene cowering in the corner of the cathedral where the wedding was when he caught her scent. And when he reached his arm out, the poor omega girl covered his back, scared of him. She was scared of him - terrified even. Hoseok tried to reassure her, but she wouldn't listen. It wasn't until one of Redstone's betas came by and explained to Irene that Taehee was dead and Suyoung was missing.

Irene had no choice but to trust this alpha and let him guide her outside of the building where the rest of the Bloodrose was standing. (Minus Namjoon and V). Irene was confused to find that there were only five of them who came to invade Redstone. Irene couldn't help but think 'How strong is Bloodstone?' It terrified her to think that.

But what terrified her the most was that Jungkook disappeared. He was nowhere to be found. She was Suyoung dragging the omega boy away. She couldn't help but think that Suyoung had taken Jungkook far away from here. Away from her.

"Are you okay? Do you need me to check your injuries?"

Hoseok tries to look at the girl's arm and heal her scratches, but she slaps his hand away from him. "I'm fine. I just want Jungkook to come back." Hoseok notices the tears from the girl's eyes.

"Listen, I know you're scared, but our alpha is out there looking for your friend. He'll be okay."

"Will he? I don't trust any of you. I'm happy Redstone is defeated. But I'm not happy that Bloodrose is here to take me and Jungkook away. We can fend for ourselves. The last thing I want is for Jungkook to be surrounded by a bunch of stupid and selfish alphas." She stares down Jimin. "I can't even believe you're mated to one."

Jimin wanted to yell at her. No one talked about his mate like that. Yoongi was the sweetest alpha he could ask for. No one was more understanding than him. But he never gets the chance when they can hear rustling noises from the forest.

Out of the forest comes Namjoon with a small boy and a familiar black wolf following him. The small boy is now lying on the wolf's back, as he got tired from the small walk back.

Irene's eyes go wide and she runs towards the boy. "Jungkook!" She gets close to the boy but stops when the wolf growls at her. The wolf has become very protective of the omega on his back. He knew this girl was an omega. But he didn't care. Anyone from Redstone was now an enemy in his eyes.
