Y/N's footsteps echoed in the narrow alleyway as she followed the directions Jungkook had texted her. The city was alive with its usual hum, but here in this forgotten nook of the underworld, everything felt still, as if the night itself was holding its breath. Her mind was a race, replaying every word jungkook had said to her, every threat masked as a promise.

She hadn't heard from him since that night in the club, yet there he was, pulling her deeper. She was supposed to meet 'The Fox' in a place that felt more like a trap than a meeting spot, and with every step she took, the weight of the bottom of her stomach grew heavier.

Turning the corner, Y/N found the rusted iron door that matched the description Jungkook had provided. There were no signs, no windows just some anonymous building, tucked away from prying eyes. She hesitated, then knocked, the knuckles barely grazing the metal before it opened. Standing in the doorway was a man who was tall, wiry, and alert, his eyes on her with a cool detachment.

"Y/N?" he asked, his voice low but sharp.

She nodded, swallowing the lump in her throat.

"Come in. The fox is waiting," he said, stepping aside and gesturing for her to enter.

Inside, it was far from the dingy, darkened room of her Imagination; instead, sleek and modern with black leather furnishings and a whole wall of monitors showing camera feeds from around the city. He led her down the hall at the back to the door at the end; waiting was The Fox.

The moment she stepped inside, her eyes had fallen on the man lounging in a chair by the window. Hey looked nothing like a dangerous figure she had with up in her mind. With an easy smile and tousled hair, he seemed more like a rebellious college student that a feared member of the mafia. But there was something sharp in his gaze, something calculating behind his casual demeanor.

"Ah, so you're the one Jungkook's been so interested in," he said, his voice playful but laced with an edge hidden beneath. "Y/N right?"

She nodded cautiously, unsure about how to read him.

"I'm The Fox," he said, rising to his feet and taking a step closer to her. "Though I'm guessing you already know that." His eyes darted over her as though sizing her up. "What I don't get is why you're here, poking around in places you don't belong."

"I just need information," Y/N said, trying to keep her voice steady. "I—"

"You're looking for something, and you have no idea just how dangerous this game is." He cut her off as the playful expression faded from his face. "Jungkook doesn't let people in very easily. The fact he's taken an interest in you means you're either incredibly lucky or incredibly stupid."

Y/N eyes flashed at the insult, but she held her tongue. She wasn't here to make enemies, not when she already was in so far over her head.

"What can I do for you?" Fox asked, his voice softening somewhat as he leaned against the desk, crossing his arms. "I don't figure you to be here just to shoot the breeze."

Y/N hesitated. The truth was, she didn't know what she was looking for anymore. At first, she had thought this was about just a story, a lead that could make her career. But now, standing in the heart of Jungkook's empire, she realized she'd somehow joined something way bigger than she'd anticipated.

"I need to know more about Jungkook," she said quietly, her voice barely more than a whisper. "Who he is. Why he? Why does he seem so interested in me?"

The fox's expression changed, something cold flickering in the bottom of his eyes. "Jungkook is many things," he said slowly. "But what you need to understand is that he doesn't do anything without a reason. If he's brought you into his world, there's a propose behind it."

Y/N's pulse quickened. "What do you mean?"

The fox merely smiled, but it it did not reach his eyes. "You're asking dangerous questions. And the more you ask, the more tangled you'll get in his web."

"Then tell me," she pressed, her voice firmer now. "Tell me what I'm dealing with."

He stood tall, walking closer to her as he spoke. "Jungkook isn't some mafia boss playing games. It is calculated and ruthless, and he doesn't let anybody near his circle if they cannot be of some used to him. If he has taken an interest in you, it's because he wants something from you."

The Fox shook his head, expression unreadable. "That's the million-dollar question, isn't it?"

Before Y/N could respond, the door behind her opened and a familiar presence flooded the room. Jungkook stepped inside, his gaze looking onto hers the moment he entered. His eyes were dark and unreadable, yet there was something different within him, something far more dangerous, more intense.

"Did you get what you came for?" He asked it in a low smooth voice.

Y/N's heart was pounding in her chest. She didn't know how to answer. Every Instinct in her body told her to run, to get as far away from Jungkook as possible. But something kept her in place, something far stronger than fear.

A small, knowing smile had curled Jungkook's lips. "Good," he said softly, the steps closing the distance between them until he was standing mere inches from her. "Because you're not leaving."

Y/N's breath got caught in her throats as his hand brushed her arm, adult of electricity running through her body at his touch. "You wanted to play in my world," he whispered, his voice low and dangerous. "Now you're mine."
