Surprise Meeting

Chapter 6

 Shina blushed lightly as he felt Connor's hand in his own still, they were running through the crowds of people as Connor tagged him along to a small restaurant. Shina looked up at Connor, seeing he was bright with a smile that reached his eyes as he ran around the bustling crowd like a child. The smile looked good on his master, and Shina wished he could tell him so but instead he came flying right into Connor's back. 

A moan left his lips and he rubbed his forehead, "Why the hell did you stop running?" Shina spoke easily and he felt his hand be dropped and he walked around Connor to see why he had stopped. They stood before a small little restaurant which wasn't really busy. 

"I stopped because we are here." Connor said as if it was obvious. Shina pouted lightly as they walked into the restaurant, he had missed the warmth of Connor already and he had just released his hand. He looked up at Connor blushing lightly as he noticed his Master talking to a woman who brushed all up on him. 

Jealousy and...envy fled through Shina's veins and he scowled noticing the woman was huge in the chest and small around the waist however, her face was not so pretty. Shina moved easily and slid his arm around Connor's waist like he was scared and he instantly got attention, "Shina? Are you alright? Why are you shaking?" his master asked and he flicked his eyes up to the woman seeing her scoff at him before showing them their table. 

Connor was still asking him similar questions when they got to the table and finally Shina glanced over at him and blushed, "Nothing was wrong I was just slightly cold was all...plus it is really busy here and everyone is staring at me." he said softly his ears flattening looking around the room, he was right. Every available eye was trained on him and he absolutely hated it. Shina tried to hide his ears but his hair was now cropped close to his face and didn't hide his ears so the white monstrosities stood out among everything as well as his tail. 

He felt fingers touch his jaw and he looked over at Connor blushing, "I think they are wonderful...you shouldn't feel ashamed for who you are. They are just jealous they don't have ears like you do. You could probably hear what they are saying without even being close to them! I would say that's pretty neat." he said trying to make Shina feel better. 

He had succeeded, a small grin slid onto Shina's face and he nodded moving his face away from Connor's hands, "Thank you...now what should I get from here?" he asked Connor looking over at him expectedly. His eyes followed the lines of his face seeing how young Connor actually was, he saw his eyes catch his own and he blushed darting his eyes down. 

"Well, how about I order for you? Then you can blame me if you don't like it?" he chuckled and the sound was like music to Shina's ears. He hadn't heard Connor laugh much and it was a wonderful sound, almost like the sight of his Master's smile. Shina wasn't stupid, he knew very well that he liked the way his master looked and he liked his master. 

And not just in a master, slave relationship. Shina was starting to feel for the master romantically, every time he had a fleeting moment he would glance at Connor and study his handsome face for any signs of what he may be feeling or what he may want to say. Shina knew it would never work as well, so he kept his feelings to himself and simply nodded to the question at hand, "Yes, you can order for me! But just this once, if its bad then next time I order for myself!" he said and pouted slightly earning a smile from Connor. 

Connor spoke easily to the waitress, another woman with bright red hair and a stern face who seemed like she wanted nothing more than to go home. He then had his eyes placed on Shina causing the small boy to move restlessly under his gaze. "Shina....do you really wish to know what happened last night?" Connor asked looking over Shina's face searching for answers. 

Shina blushed lightly and he looked down at the table, "Well...I would love to know what happened...I would hate it if I embarrassed myself or something in front of you.." he said softly and looked back up at Connor. A smile was placed on the older males lips which made the blush show even more on Shina's cheeks. 

"You weren't embarrassing...rather you were cute, and irresistible." Shina blushed dark and he snapped his head up at Connor. 

"Irresistible? Cute? I'm none of those things!" he said covering his face with his hands trying to hide the large blush on his cheeks. What had he done to make Connor feel that way towards him? He couldn't remember anything that had happened let alone something cute in which made him irresistible. 

Connor chuckled lightly and glanced over to Shina before he easily moved placing a hand on his cheek, "You...are just...beautiful.." Connor said gently as he leaned closer having Shina's full attention. He was getting closer, and closer, as their faces were only centimeters apart and their lips the same a loud woman came up to them and they pushed apart Shina's face bright red and his lips quivering. He had wanted it to happen, he knew what had almost happened and Shina glanced at Connor to see he was completely composed. 

The woman was the cook apparently and she had brought out their food. For Shina it was a broth, a soup like dish with carrots, onions, and other types of vegetables throughout. And for Connor he had gotten a soup as well but his was a red, almost like tomato soup and had small chives in it which made it look like it had little floating green bugs in it. 

Shina blushed lightly and Connor went ahead and started to eat, "Are you not going to tell me what I did last night..?" he asked flustered with the other man that he wouldn't let him in on his little secret.  Shina picked up his own spoon as he waited for an answer and started eating, feeling like he was in heaven he let out a small moan as he sipped the liquid into his mouth. 

Connor looked at him smiling happily, "I'm glad you like it...as for what you did...I was trying to tell you when we were interrupted by her loud mouth." he said and chuckled before leaning closer to Shina and smiling. "You...in all your drunken glory...pulled me to you last night and kissed me square on the lips." he said and leaned back in his chair happily smiling.

Shina was sitting open mouthed and his spoon had fallen from his hands into the bowl, "What?" he said breathlessly as he looked over Connor's face. "I did what?!" he asked louder this time for the what had come out like a whisper. 

Connor smiled, "You, and I, kissed last night." he said like it was a normal event that happened often. "It would have gone further if you hadn't fallen asleep." he said again making the blush on Shina's face darken and he moved. 

"Can we go home..?" he asked silently almost so quiet Connor didn't hear. The master's smile faltered and he looked away nodding easily. 

"Yes, we can go if you want.." he spoke easily looking at Shina noticing the blush that completely travelled up to the boys ears making them a bright red which made Connor want to bite them. Connor flagged down their waitress and got a bowl for their soup or rather Shina's soup, he could leave his. And after that they left the restaurant not a word coming from Shina. 

Connor noticed that the car was waiting for them and he smiled softly moving and holding onto Shina's hand. But just as fast as he had taken it, Shina ripped his hand from Connor's grasp and walked past him to the car not looking up from the ground. As they clambered into the back seat and told the driver they were going home Connor took the time to study Shina. 

The small figure looked like he was about to cry, Connor didn't know what he had done wrong but he hoped he could fix it. He leaned over and hugged Shina to his chest feeling tears instantly soak his shirt, a soft sniffle came from the boy in his arms and he sighed. "I didn't mean to upset you Shina.." he said gently his hands caressing the boys soft hair. 

It seemed like minutes passed before Shina took in a deep breath and looked up at Connor his eyes silently looking over the males face before he looked down, "You weren't supposed to know..." the soft voice came out and Connor looked confused. 

"I wasn't supposed to know what?" he asked Shina making him lift his face and look at him his thumb caressing the boys cheek. 

Shina's eyes pooled with water once more and he sniffled, "You weren't supposed to find out that I liked you...m-more than just a master...I-i...when I drink all of my feelings are basically displayed in front of everyone...I'm so sorry Connor...B-but I like you..." he said softly looking up to his master and his face was red. However, the thought that he barely knew this man still hinted in the back of his mind as he noticed Connor leaning into him. Shina felt Connor's lips against his own and he whimpered softly before finally he gave in kissing Connor back gently, it was incredible...but was it all just a game to Connor?
