Liz's Pov
I groggily woke up and found myself completely entangled with Matt. Over half of me was on top of him. I was slightly horrified. Mostly horrified, actually, but a tiny little part of me was not sorry at all and would do it again in a heartbeat. I slowly looked up at him, and he was awake smiling at me. My head shot back down to its previous position. I have no idea why. He knows I'm awake. I know that he saw me. It makes no sense.

M: Morning Beautiful

E: Go... Good Morning

Liz's Pov
For goodness sake, I'm such an idiot. First, my weird head thing, and now I'm stuttering over simple words. I blame him, honestly. No one should look that good. This early.

E: I'm so sorry for sleeping on you. You must have been so uncomfortable and annoyed. I'm sorry, I hope you at least got some sleep.
M: On the contrary, It was the best damn night sleep I've gotten in years
E: It is a really comfy bed, isn't it? I'm surprised they spent the money to give us such nice mattresses
M: Uhm, yeah, it wasn't because of the mattress.

Liz's Pov
He then proceeds to jump out of bed, leaving me there questioning what he could have meant. Although I knew exactly what he meant, it still had me lost in thought.

M: You ready for some breakfast gorgeous?
E: Oh yes! Be right there.

Liz's Pov
His voice snapped me out of my daydreams. I shot out of bed and went out for some breakfast. When I got out there, he was pretending like nothing had been said, so I shall do the same.

Matt's Pov
I know I probably shouldn't have told her that, but i couldn't help it. I was trying really hard not to overwhelm her, but she was literally what dreams are made of, what "my" dreams are made of.

Liz's Pov
I went to sit down for breakfast but quickly shot back up again.

M; What's wrong??      Oh, it's your.. I mean, it was the...
E; Yeah, I guess I'm still a little tender from yesterday.
M; I'm sorry, sweetheart. Can I do anything to make it better?
E: No, it's ok! It's not as bad as I made it look it just surprised me, is all.
M: Stupid Walter
E: Hahaha, so what did you have in mind for today?
M: Well, I'm kinda ready to spend some time outside of this house
E: Agreed! Oh, did you decide on your job?
M: I think I'm going into construction and maybe work on cars if I have spare time.
E: Sounds like a good idea!
M: I'm glad they have horses here for you! At least something will be normal for you
E: Yes! I'm excited to start. You know it's probably good you're not going into cars. From what I saw yesterday, there weren't any cars to work on.
M: I noticed that, too. This place is so odd.

**A few minutes later**

M; We're gonna run out of food eventually. Do you wanna go to a few stores today? See what we can find.
E: Yes, we should do that! I need to know what to get us every week.
It sounds as if shopping will be one of my responsibilities.
M: Well, it doesn't have to be. I can help out more than they think.
E: No, no, I can do it!
M: We'll just see how things work out, okay? I don't want too much pressure on you.
E: That's very sweet of you, but I don't think we're gonna have much of a choice.

Liz's Pov
We changed and made our way into town. Our previous comments on the lack of cars were correct. Not a car in sight, but there were bikes and people. Lots and lots of people.

M: Oh, that's right! It's Saturday. That's why everyone's out and about.
E: Oh yeah. That makes sense. You know you should've picked being a bike repairman. I have a feeling you'd have plenty of work.
M; I'm sure I would.

Liz's Pov
We scrolled hand in hand to the grocery store, and honestly, I could get used to this. It felt like we were in a really old movie. The town was so pretty with big trees everywhere and a cobblestone road running through the center of town. We got a week's worth of groceries. I think anyway, I've never bought groceries before. My parents did all that since I still lived with them. I'll get better at this, I told myself. I'll learn. We took it home and put it all away nice and neat.

*Lost in thought for a sec*
This was good for me in a way, actually. I've always been scared of the big bad world, and I avoided all the adult responsibilities I could. Fortunately, I'm almost positive they weren't going to allow me to do that here. Not only was I going to learn how to be an adult, I was going to learn how to be a wife, and I was going to learn very, very quickly. The thought of being a sub was a little too overwhelming to think about in this moment, so we won't even go there.

*Back in the moment*
We went out again and explored through the shops some more. We didn't end up buying anything, but again, it felt like we were sent back in time. All the couples either walking hand in hand or bike riding together. Pretty much all girls were even wearing dresses. All the stores were in old-fashioned brick buildings and were set up so cute and proper. I honestly loved it. After a walk through the blooming trees and rocky creek bed, we decided to hang out at our house for the remainder of the day. We watched our TV show, played some games, and he tried to teach me his favorite video game. We went to bed together again, and I may or may not have curled up next to him, and it may or may not have been by choice.

The next day was much the same, except we actually needed to get some things done today

Liz's Pov
We woke up entangled with each other once again, but this time, it wasn't awkward. We were both completely fine with our sleeping arrangements. We had our breakfast together again, and then we decided to go through our closet to make sure we had all we needed. We did infact not have all we needed. Suddenly, it hit me tomorrow is Monday. We start our jobs, we have to get our new routine down, and I have to learn to cook and clean for a man. Today was our last day to prepare ourselves. The clothes they gave us were a great start, but we needed work clothes and gym clothes. Even some nicer going out clothes would be nice. However, our day did not go to plan.

E; What's going on? They were all open yesterday.
M; I'm not sure. Maybe because it's Sunday and everyone has off? Including all the people who own businesses.
E; That would be really weird, though, wouldn't it?
M; Who knows, with everything that goes on here. I think it would be the least strange thing.
E; Well, what do we do now? We need clothes for tomorrow.
M; We should have done it yesterday instead of goofing off.
E; Yeah, I guess so. You know we should ask someone what's going. If this is a weekly occurrence or if it's out of the ordinary.
M; Like who? We know no one.
E; Well.... Our mentor
M; Hellllll no. I'm not going to him for anything. I'd rather wear the clothes we have all week than go to him for help.
E; Ok, fair enough. We'll manage.

Liz's Pov
We ended up finding a hike to do, and  we were enjoying another lazy day together. We had finished our dinner and had started a movie. The door burst open and scared us both to death. Matt was up in a second, wanting to find who was responsible when Walter showed his face. Oh brother, here we go again.

W: What the hell are you two doing??
M: What are we doing?? What the hell are you doing!?
W: You were supposed to be at your class 10 minutes ago.
M: What class??
W: Your Dom and Sub class that you're supposed to take together.
E: We didn't know. I'm sorry
W: Didn't know!? It's as plain as day on your pamphlet.
E: Oh... Well.. Uhm... I..
M: We must have forgotten to read that. Sorry
W: How can you forget that?
E: It's my fault, sir. I told him no, let's do something more fun
W: Well, that was naughty, wasn't it? Now it's back to bite you, and YOU! Women don't make decisions here, and this is why. It almost always ends like this.
M: She simply said we should read it later, and then we forgot to. Don't make it such a big thing
W: It is a big thing. You have 2 minutes to get out the door. MOVE!
